The Eyeshine Table
Recently I was looking back at the description/art of Azune's eyes, and particularly the detail that the pupils are yellow like the sun. Since most pupils are dark because they're clear openings into the dark interior of the eyeball, the only logical conclusion I could come to is that Azune's eyeballs must be light on the inside and therefore glow.
Given that Bolaire and Occtis canonically have glowing eyes, and Teor as a lion man presumably has tapetum lucidum, we should have a whole table's worth of characters to scare your socks off in the dark. 😂
Everyone's probably sick and tired of hearing me go on and on about eyeshine and where giants fall and johnny yong bosch in general, but i can't express how much his music has changed me. It's genuinely so good and i honestly dont think I've ever resonated this deeply with an artist's music.
All this to say, sorry for being annoying about eyeshine, it will happen again.
Genuinely glad i found eyeshine when i did. Johnny wrote some great songs and i truly believe had i found this band at any other point in my life, their music would not have resonated with me as it has.
If there was a music award for "band with most songs that made tion cry" eyeshine would win that so fast. My friends tease me (lightheartedly) for being a jyb stan now, but genuinely his music has changed my brain chemistry in a way i didnt expect.
