Y'all I want you to know I'm relistening to @kingfallsam with a friend (@excali-bear ) and,,, I'm sure folks have figured this out already, but just for my sake:

Ben mentioned (when complaining about Grease when Maggie called in again) his senior year of high school was in 2001. So like. That's 17 or 18, meaning 1984 or 1983, and that places him as 35 or 36 years old, my dudes (which is the same age as Noah James as well IIRC). I just. Huh. Is Sammy actually that much older than him, or is he just teasing because Sammy's in his 40s? Also why is Ben being ten years older than me so hard for me to wrap my head around?

Also, given how frequently Herschel mentions having fought in WWII, it surprised me that I never, y'know, thought about how friggin old he is until a few months ago. The youngest you could probably get away with enlisting and convincing anyone you're totally 19 (or convincing them to turn a blind eye to your bringing underage) is maybe 15? The Americans didn't join the war until 1941, and obviously it ended in '45, so that puts his birth date c. 1926-30, depending on when he enlisted, placing him somewhere around 89-93 as of 2019. Like. That's the youngest he could possibly be. (Like, my grandpa was actually 19 when he joined in 1944 and he died in '09 at 84 years old. (He stepped on a landmine and was discharged several months before the war ended.)) My point is: holy crap is Herschel ever old lol

Ever since I started listening to @kingfallsam in the summer I can't listen to RL radio shows the same way anymore. Especially FM96's Fearless Fred show (London, ON) because his voice reminds me of Mission Apparition's Dan and the way he talks reminds me so so so much of Ben Arnold.

Hey, I've only recently finished the first season of Serendipity Next Door with Masaomi. I want to move onto the next season but it won't let me. Do I have to finish everyone's story?

Hello eyesthroughwater! Thank you very much for asking. My apologies for replying this so late. I’m assuming that you might already have your answer to your question. But i’m still gonna reply to it in case you haven’t. I think that Serendipity Next Door has only season 1 of the stories released at the moment. You can keep yourself updated here. They provide releases of voltage inc stories on a monthly basis.

Last night was our Halloween party and it was greeaat

I was Kevin, Lauren was Cecil, Christian was Deadpool, Jessica was a pink and purple monster, Yvette was a pirate, Shannon was in a masquerade-y outfit, and I guess Maddie was an heiress whose parents were killed by Meagan?  And then Erik didn't wear a costume.  "I'm already scary enough," he said.  Maddie's dress was sparkly and so very visually stimmy to Jess.

Some people brought snacks, so Maddie brought a six-pack of microwave popcorn bowls and told me to keep them all.  I sent two of them home with Lauren.  There's still a ton of chips and gummies and cookies and cupcakes and croissants and cotton candy leftover.

We watched Nightmare Before Christmas first, and then we put on the first season of Marble Hornets after Meagan, Maddie, and the boys all left.  Jessica was really tired and went home to sleep before we watched anything.  I fell asleep about twenty entries into Marble Hornets and I remember waking up during a scene I was too tired to recognise, saying "I don't remember this part," and falling back asleep.

I kept touching Lauren's hair because it was blue and it turned out really well.  I tried dying my hair and hands red, but my hair became orange and my hands turned pink.  However, I did style it very well, and I introduced Yvette to the magical wonder that is styling powder.

I only have pictures of myself, Lauren, and Yvette, but I think Lauren has pictures of everyone's costumes.  The pictures I do have are soon to come.

The other night at dinner, some of us were in cosplay and trying to be in character. Lauren was Dr. Jane Watson, and Shannon was very Rocky Horror-inspired.

Shannon: Jane, when is food coming?

Lauren: It will come when it's ready.

Shannon: But, it's already been five minutes.

Lauren: Lots of foods take more than five minutes to cook.

Shannon: Why?

Lauren: Because this is why you're not allowed to cook, Shirley.
