Watching Infinity War with my dad and brother
Me, during a break: The next one comes out in April.
Dad, pausing in his search for snacks: The...Infinity and Beyond War?
Me, processing that: ...No, Endgame.
Dad: I like mine better.
Me: Me too!

Ever since I started listening to @kingfallsam in the summer I can't listen to RL radio shows the same way anymore. Especially FM96's Fearless Fred show (London, ON) because his voice reminds me of Mission Apparition's Dan and the way he talks reminds me so so so much of Ben Arnold.
Like.
"The Royal Family is having an interesting time right now, dealing with internet trolls. [...] You know, they used to guillotine royals, but nowadays, you can't do that. [...] You give up your guillotine, and you're one step closer to being made fun of on the internet. You think King Louis, the Sun King, you think he dealt with internet trolls? Nooo!"
What. Just. Wow. That. Was a hulluva leap.
Anna watches "Final Girl" part 1/?
Okay Final Girl you are being trained as an assassin. Okay. So either you've spent the past 12 years somehow maintaining all/most of your innocence despite being trained for this since around 10. I don't doubt a squeamishness for killing, but injury? How? You'd think they'd have desensitized that to you early on! This flashback to her getting assaulted by her target, oooh my gooooddddd come on! You don't actually use techniques to break the handhold on your throat in real self defense--you hit them back! I guarantee if you punch them in the throat they'll be more concerned with their own asphyxiation than they'll be with yours. Or go for the eyes. You're. Training. To. Kill. Maiming in what's at this point self defense should not be a problem. I get the movie wants to he dramatic but it's just making me angry. You wouldn't do a boy assassin like this, writers, so what's up here.
(It doesn't help that the wifi connection keeps lagging...)
Also! Also! What! The fuck! Is with!! The fucking romance with her trainer! Noooooo thanks! He raised her! I get he's her only male influence so the crush on her end is understandable, but where does he get off with his halfassed rejection? Uggghhhh
If she were brought into this life a few years ago I wouldn't have as a much of a problem. But she was somewhere between 8 and 10 years old when she was pulled into this training, and it's been 12 years. Maybe they explain it more in-depth, but so far I'm just really wondering what on earth they've been teaching her that she's only seeming to be learning these things now.
Also, a nitpick, your actor for William, he uh, he does not look like he's aged twelve years just because you shaved his head.
My mom can't put the tinsel on the tree because Zelda has claimed them as her bed
Yes hi in order to avoid studying for my CLT practical tomorrow I’m instead hyperfocusing on figuring out what the ever-loving HECK Gohma from LoZ Ocarina of Time even is. She doesn’t have eight legs so she’s not an arachnid. None of this is really important to anything anywhere but here I am spending a few solid hours researching and bothering my friends about it anyway.
So in a serious conversation with @bowserblr I’ve gone through this series of thoughts on the subject. With his permission, I’ve included the whole silly thing under the cut.
Oh also Happy October this October won't be as miserable as the last one I hope!!!!
(last October wasn't completely miserable or so I think I can't remember)
She says it's lonely (at least she said a while ago). So maybe, it still holds true?
That gives me happiness!
