NEXT WEEK WE START RECORDING ALBUM 2! 📣 That’s right! We’re heading to the snowy and isolated Yorkshire dales on Monday to hunker down and record with our friend and producer @_russ_clark. We’ve been writing and demoing throughout and since lockdown. The pandemic feels like absolutely forever ago and even longer since we were releasing music, booking and playing shows before that. We’ve been in this chapter for a very long time and have missed you all. For the first time we feel ready and excited to move onto the next part of #eyrellew’s journey. N E W . B E G I N I N G S . . . Last night we opened up the next chapter in Eyre Llew’s story as we moved into a new and permanent studio space. 🔑 This is such a huge development for us. After a collection of obstacles throughout and since the pandemic slowing our meets and writing sessions, it’s been tough to keep up any momentum and progress we had up until then. Development on our new songs had been limited without our pre-lockdown routine tour dates, writing and rehearsals. 😷 So this is such a welcome break to us in find a new place to stay. Our band has found a new home and we’re excited to release some new music. 🏡 Within two hours in the new space we had written the bones of a new song to go towards our next album which we’ll hopefully be recording somewhere in the new year. 💿 It’s funny how good things just fall into place sometimes... Had an absolutely wicked birthday month with some of my favourite people, favourite places and favourite bands. A trip to Manchester, Eyre Llew’s album launch show, a trip to York with the lads and then again to see the family, plus a quick weekend in Liverpool and seeing Bury Tomorrow, not to mention seeing Wolf Alice and Every Time I Die play next door to each other on the same night. Very lucky.
Ma Eyre Llew lads are on their way to KOREA!! They've been invited over to play at Zandari Festival which is yet another example of their international potential. Cheers to Sam for a class night at Glee on saturday as well as a mini send off
