i’m disappointed lol. the first season was so good at humanizing every character, at pacing everything so well, and this season it was just. Keith Time. but not even cool interesting Keith Time, just telling us what literally everyone had already figured out on their own and not answering any actual questions. also the pacing was… bad? there shouldn’t be a “THIS IS OUR FINAL BATTLE!!!!!” reminiscing moment in your second season. especially when you have 6000 loose ends to tie up. we *know* it’s not your final battle. that’s not even dramatic irony it’s just shit pacing

i found myself far less entertained as a whole this season because all the focus seems to have gone to the battles and none to the characters. they were all closer last season. allura is like “i’ve come to think of you all as my family” and it’s just YOU HAVENT HAD A REAL CONVERSATION W ANY OF THEM THIS ENTIRE SEASON!!!!! ITS LIKE EP 11!!!!!!!!!!!!

on a more personal whiny note, my ship only got any real play for one scene in one episode. other than that they barely interacted!!!!! they spent all of last season interacting!!!!!!! Wtf!!!!!! and they pushed That Het Ship (no, the new one) super hard and it was. bad.

allura was great this season and the reveal at the end abt a certain character’s race (not keith the other one) was rly cool! that cold ending!!!! not even gonna mention the ending re: shiro because it was… dumb… but i have a friend who’s gonna be losing her damn mind over that cold ending lmfao
