We know about pining Callum, but what about Pining Ezran? How do you think Jelly Tart Prince would Pine for that special someone?
I don’t think Ezran would really be interested / pursuing anything romantically until he was 16 at least if not 20, so with that age up and subsequent furthering of maturity in mind
Ezran being very committed. He knows as king that casually courting isn’t really an option. He’s very quiet but consistent with his feelings
Little displays of affection, like walking in the castle gardens and sending flowers, things like that
Acts of service too, like getting special food made or combing hair for someone he likes / is with
On that note, I think Ezran’s main love language would be quality time to the supreme, so that’s what matters most to him and what he tries to create
He likes going on experiences for dates > presents most of the time
Also nature. Walks, picnics, gardening together, animal related stuff (bird watching or something, or talking to the castle creatures). It makes him feel calm and centred and is refreshing after being cooped up in the castle all day
I also think he’d express love by like, really valuing the other person’s opinion? On non political matters too. Like “I want to hear what you think” and would really take it into account
Also helps that Ezran is very unconditionally accepting across the board, and he would absolutely want that back. But he’d be even more supportive of the person he’s with/crushing on, giving lots of compliments
Absolutely asking the person to dance at galas and functions, wanting to take them as his date (even just under the guise of friends)
Ezran doesn’t actually initiate a lot of physical affection in the show except for hugs, so him taking someone’s hand or a cheek kiss (especially the latter) would be a big deal and again, a lot more overt. Maybe some nerves over hand holding at first, adorable boy
Wanting to partake and try out hobbies to see how he is at them first before presenting it as a joint task, if it’s something he’s really unfamiliar with. I think he’d struggle with having the time or energy to do in depth reading, so he’s not the type to read all the books on your bedside table.
But something more experience based or physical (like a sort of game or nail painting, for ex) would be up his alley
