Story Summary:
After Amber Ryder's best friend from the Milky Way Galaxy arrives at her apartment and dies it changes everything. Niria has been working with the Benefactor and have damning information that the Benefactor must be stopped. But who is the Benefactor? What are they up to? How will Ryder stop them? With this mission she will be tested in ways she couldn't have ever imagine in her wildest dreams. And she will need the old Tempest members to help her.
Chapter 1: Being Arrested
The Benefactor?
Did Ryder hear that right?
“Did you just say the Benefactor?” Ryder repeated.
“Yes, I have information.” Niria pulled out an OSD. “I’m working for them.”
Them? So Niria had no idea who it was either. “You’re working for them? Who are they?”
Ryder knew in her heart Niria didn’t know who it was. Whether it was a group or a person. No one in Andromeda knew the identity of the Benefactor.
“No, I don”t know who it is. But they are evil to the core. As evil as evil can be. You have no idea what they are capable of.” Niria spoke with hatred.
“Why are you working for them?” Ryder asked.

Chapter One - First Impressions. Summary:
Reyes Vidal took one look at the Pathfinder waiting at the bar and realised he was in trouble.
So first chapter is out of my retelling of Aeryn Ryder and Reyes Vidal's romance. From their first meeting in Kralla's Song and beyond. snippet below-
He had to get The Pathfinder's attention and often the best way to break the ice was over a drink. He didn't see one in the Pathfinder's hand as he came in, so wasn't even sure she'd ever drunk from here, but he was about to find out if she could handle what Kralla's song offered. "You look like you're waiting for someone." The woman had already noticed him of course and looked at the drink he offered. He waited as she considered him carefully, her eyes dilating a little, then took the drink with an accepting clink against his glass. "I've got time for a drink" She drawled as she took the whisky and suddenly slammed it back just as hard as he did. Reyes stood for a moment in awe, not expecting a woman to appreciate the hard liquor, but then put on his best face for the introduction. Opening his arms wide, he turned on all the charm he could muster. "Shena, but you can call me Reyes. I hate codenames."
