Crusade

Story Summary:

Everyone on the Normandy has a mission that is personal to them. And this includes Shepard. When Shepard gets a secretive message, every fiber of her being tells her it’s from Kaidan. He needs her and she will hit pause on the Collectors to help him out.

Crusade

To say the least, Kaidan and Shepard's confrontation didn’t go well. Which was why she was awfully surprised to get this message from him. 

It has been days since she received this message. Shepard read it so many times a day she has every word memorized by now. But she couldn’t say anything back.

There were bugs all over the Normandy. And Shepard knew her messages were being monitored too. Miranda knew she got that message from Kaidan. She didn’t need to tell Shepard for her to know. 

Muling Kadain’s words over and over again in her head Shepard made herself some coffee. She was so deep into her thoughts she didn’t see Garrus. 

“What’s going on with you these days?” Garrus scared her so much she almost jumped to her side. “Sorry,” he apologized. “Didn’t mean to startle you.”

Shepard placed a hand on her heart. “No, it's fine. I just didn’t see you there.” She was stirring her coffee with a spoon. Making sure the sugar dissolved into her coffee. 

“So,” he said when she said nothing else. “Want to answer my question?”

In all honesty Shepard already forgot that her turian friend asked her a question. But she only continued to stir her coffee in oblivion.

What the week is about: It's a special week to celebrate Mass Effect Andromeda!!!! A game that gives us a lot of joy! So let's talk about our Ryder, the Tempest crew, the worldbuilding, the new species like the angara and the kett... Let's have fun together!

How is it different from any other week? Appreciation weeks can get people excited about a specific fandom and be more active. It can bring more fandom content. The fact that there's one tag that fandom can check every day of that week is very nice for everyone who wants to share their thoughts and fanworks. It's also a good week to find friends in fandom! So if you're new, enjoy!!!

What can't be posted in the tag: MEA criticism. This is not the week for it.
