I wake up from my after-work nap to a guy on the clock-radio saying “.... the supreme court, means changes in and lessening women’s rights, affirmative action, race, and lgbt rights, but that’s just politics” followed by a long conversation about needing to be civil. 

Must be nice to be a straight white man and be comfortable that all your rights are a given.  Never having to fight for them.  Never having to fight for generations for them, win some and know they can be taken away at any moment.  That anyone’s existence other than your own is “political”. 

Also, f*** being civil.  These are real lives on the line.  We don’t get no peace ‘cause of you?  You don’t get no peace ‘cause of us!
