Amsjdhdh ok so he was dating my best friend right before COVID and he seemed. Normal? The first red flag was that he said some low key transphobic stuff, and I’m trans so I was like hey bro that’s not cool. But I accept that people can learn and grow from small mistakes like that so I let it go. Second red flag was he was always talking about drinking until he blacks out and he wasn’t even of age yet. Also vaping. Third red flag was that he vehemently hated soup.

Then the pandemic happened and it was the beginning so it didn’t get bad yet, we actually hung out together a couple times and his family was really caring. Kinda felt like he was using me as a therapist a little bit but I was like ok I’m here for my friends it’ll pass. I mentioned seeing a therapist and said he goes to one but she doesn’t fix anything (he was def fighting her lol, you need to work to feel better and he didn’t like what she said. No introspection for him) And he showed me the music he liked to listen to. It was not my thing to say the least, I don’t think music can make people violent but it definitely wasn’t helping his mental health and it gave me a headache but I supported him.

THEN he starts sending his own lyrics to the group chat with my two best friends and multiple times he used slurs that I in particular have trauma with. I tried to tell him not to use them but he hit me with the “I’m bisexual I can reclaim the F slur” and I was like whatever just don’t use it around me. He then proceeded to send it directly to my private messages in more mass lyric copy pastes.

He starts going off in the group chat and my bff’s dms all the time about how terrible this world is to him and his life is ruined by the pandemic and masks are traumatic and how he should commit unalive and we would have to be his therapist everyday until he started saying WE were shitty bad people?? It got so bad she would panic whenever he texted

So long story short of a bunch of public and private harassment to my BFF she finally broke it off, which was really hard bc he did the “if you break up with me I’ll k/m/s” and blocked all his contact info.

Cue his tumblr explosion.

A month later after showing his true colors to the entire internet and us, my friend gets a call from an unknown number. Expecting a call from her college, she picks up and it’s him. He just screams. No words, just straight vocal yelling. She hangs up and blocks the number. He doesn’t stop calling and completely fills her voicemail box calling her all kinds of things and being manipulative.

He also saw where she said in the tags of a post “die mad about it” and he tried to accuse her of su/icide baiting him

Ooh, boy, here we go! Okay, this is gonna be a crazy session. Thieves are by nature usually quite competitive, so having all the players as Thieves could result in Sburb turning into one big PvP match! I personally estimate this to be a terrible thing, but let’s see how well it works out...

So, let’s start by examining some of the more incidentally helpful players. The Thief of Void might be able to jump in an out of reality, using the Void as a medium to snatch resources from others (the ultimate sneak-thief!), or else focus on the non-existence of a thing and “steal” it, causing that thing to come into existence. Of course, unlike a Rogue, the Thief will be inclined to make direct use of this thing instead of paying it forward to the other players. The Thief of Rage will be capable of taking away the anger and volatile passions of the other players, which can actually be a big help...unless they need to be angry or hyped. Sometimes a little passion really helps us move forward! If things get bad, the Thief of Doom is actually one of the more directly helpful of their class, stealing the fate of another for themselves, effectively ganking someone else’s sacrifice to take the hit. Similarly, if they truly want to be helpful, the Thief of Time might even snatch someone out of danger from the past or future.

The Thief of Blood is much less of an obvious altruist, but has potential. At face value, they’re a player who takes away the relationships of others for their own gain, but conversely, they might actually use the bonds they have to accomplish some other theft, possibly to the group’s benefit. The Thief of Space, as recently discussed, can be both a needy worker and a devastating fighter, while the Thief of Hope is a player who simply won’t be stopped from taking what they know they deserve. Beware the Thief of Life - the power to steal away life is a dangerous thing, and the implication of them gaining extra ways to come back from death puts them at a huge advantage, if this session turns competitive!

We’ve seen what a Thief of Light can do, stealing the luck and knowledge of others for their own use, and a Thief of Heart will be a jealous caregiver, indeed. A Thief of Mind will be looking to exploit the plans of others and the Thief of Breath will regularly intercede and meddle with anyone who makes progress ahead of them. Yep, all around, this session feels like it’s going to be a mess with minimal player cohesion. Please, please, please remember that you’re all playing toward a single goal and that individual success is not mutually exclusive! Good luck!
