Introducing Femula 1 - a Formula 1 Femslash fest.

Our vision is simple - we want more femslash in the world and we're going to do everything we can to make it happen. So we invite you to our fest all about it. Interested? More info below the cut.

Rules:

Only F/F content allowed. That includes ALL women and women aligned individuals.

All drivers and pairings are allowed. TP's and pit-crew are as well. They just have to be rule 63'd.

Any media types are allowed. If you want to make art, go ahead! If you want to write a fic, be our guest. If you just want to post meta about how you think a girl!driver would act, that's cool too! Any sort of rule 63 or femslash is welcomed.

Have fun! This is meant to be a fun fest to simply increase the amount of femslash in the fandom.

Timeline:

We have a collection on ao3 where prompts are being collected. You do not have to use a prompt if you have your own ideas, but we wanted to let people submit stuff just in case. Prompts will close on December 31st, 2024.

Content is due IN February. It can be any day you'd like. The idea is to post stuff during the month. If you submit your fic to the ao3 collection, we will be staging them to post throughout the month.

We will be opening up an existing fem!driver discord for people if they'd like to have a place to talk about femslash and their ideas. Our only rule there is that if you don't like, you don't engage. We all have our favorite drivers and we're going to be respectful.

Charles surrounds herself with pretty people. It’s not conscious, and it’s not even from a judgmental standpoint. It is largely because she is an athlete with majority athlete friends, so most of her friends are going to be, at the least, fit. It is a strategic move, because if Charles is just as pretty as everyone else in her circle, then the focus will be on her talent, on her brain, on her career, which is far more pleasant to talk about than her looks. Esteban Ocon is not part of Charles’ circle for many reasons, but a big one, a main one, is that Esteban Ocon is not pretty. Esteban Ocon is fucking gorgeous, and there is a difference between the two, no matter how much everyone else wants to pretend there isn't.

aaaaand we're back!

Femula 1, a month long fest centered around femslash, is coming back in February 2026! Prompting is open now on AO3!!

Rules:

All drivers and pairings are allowed. This includes F1 Academy and TP's and pitcrew. As long as they're R63'd, they're in.

Any media types are allowed. Art, fic, meta, web weaves, graphics - go at it!

Have fun! This is simply meant to be a fest to increase the amount of femslash in the fandom.

Posting:

Posting starts on AO3 starts on February 1st. As long as there are enough works, two will go up a day.

Content can be submitted at any time to the fest. If your work is the only work we have, it'll go up within a day of submitting.

Any work on tumblr tagged with #f1femslashfest or tagging us directly will be reblogged into our queue.
