For the third week in a row, we've recieved dozens of sightings of Scuderia Ferrari's F1 driver Charles Leclerc. These images and sighting have come after Leclerc's worst performances since joining the Scuderia in 2019. With a P8, DNF (of his own doing), and P6, he is not impressing anybody.
Is Charles drowning his sorrows in champagne and Monaco's finest women? Or is there something else at play here?

His team was exhausted. They don't know what's come over him in the past few months. Instead of late sim sessions and candle-lit dinners, his nights became clubs and casinos. It wasn't like he'd done anything that made Ferrari look bad yet, but it was a matter of time.
They'd gotten him a new performance coach, nothing changed. They found him a new sports psychologist, Charles ignored him. They'd even hired a therapist in case something was emotionally pent up and costing him performance, and Charles had avoided talking to her.
His team didn't know what more to change for him to go back to his old results.
That is until, Amira, a PR intern, asked them if they'd thought of changing Charles' nutritionist. As they all looked at each other, they realized that they had nothing to lose and every thing to gain so why not get Charles to run new meal plans and meet a new private chef to set them up for him.
Yet, Charles was less than estatic when this very idea was brought up to him in a team meeting. He didn't need to be fixed. He needed to be left alone.
"Mamma mia. Honestly, when will you all quit it and leave me alone?", he angrily asked his own team.
They didn't get it. His shitty performances weren't caused by his partying, it was the other way around. Partying was his vice. His way to get over how he felt like he had lost his magic racing touch.
This was the worst dip in performance he'd ever seen. Shit, he was happier with his performance in Sauber.
"Charles, we care about you. We want to see more of the old Charles. We are willing to flip the team inside out to see you happy in the car again", his manager, Nicolas gentle parented him.
"You don't care about me. You care about the points", he said before storming out. The ten people left behind sitting at the round table were stunned. In the seven years Charles had spent with the team, this was his first time throwing a fit. Something was seriously wrong and Charles is hilariously incorrect if he thinks they won't get to the bottom of it.
Two weeks later, Nicolas had worn down Charles to the point of getting him to agree to meet with the private chef they would like to hire for him. They set up a meeting for the two at a salad shop in Monte-Carlo in the early morning.
When Charles arrived (early may he add), a woman was already waiting there. She had what looked to be an iced coffee in one hand and was combing through a binder with her other. She looked about as calm and anyone could in the heart of Monaco, like she belonged here and nobody could question it. She was also laser-focused on whatever was inside the binder.
Once she spotted Charles, she gracefully stood up and motioned to the chair in front of her. She went in for a handshake, which Charles fumbled around before his hand reached hers.
"You must be Charles Leclerc. My name is Yn Ln. To tell you about myself, I'm 24 years old. I've been working as a private chef for three years. I have been living in Monaco for one. And...I have a pet dog, Brie. After the cheese, of course", you introduced yourself.
"Uh- Yes, Charles Leclerc. I'm 27. I assume you know I am a Formula One driver and have been for eight years now. I'm from Monaco..lived here my whole life. And... I like dogs", he clumsily explained himself to her.
With a chuckle, she slid over the binder she'd been reading when Charles first spotted her sitting alone.
He questioned her with his eyes before his eyes fell upon the title "Charles' Meal Plan". Ugh, a boring binder loaded with information he couldn't care less to listen about.
You quickly caught on the mood change and decided to shift his attention elsewhere. "So, uh, Mr. Leclerc. Tell me, what are your favorite foods and what do you wish your diet included more of?"
He was surprised to hear you ask what he wanted. He'd never had a nutrionist do that before much less anyone in his team recently.
"I like Italian food. Y'know, pasta, pizza, gelato. I wish my diet had more variety. My last two nutritionists stuck to the same meal plan. Steamed vegetables, salads with no dressing, boiled protein...it's very-", he says.
"Boring?", you finish for him.
"Yes", he replies.
You stare at him knowingly for a second. You'd cooked for other athletes before and knew how rigid their diets were. Some would often break and take cheat days and others would go off the diet completely.
"How about this? I make you five meals for the next week. You decide which ones you like. If you don't like any we can try again the next week. Slowly, we can build meal cycles that you actually enjoy and keep you hitting your goals. How does this sound?"
Charles, once again, was surprised to hear someone genuinely wants his opinion again. Too often he was given something and told to keep quiet and do as others think he should. But, with you, his say matters.
"Sounds good", he says with a twinkle in his eye.

First month with my newest client complete. It's been intersting trying to R&D with so many restrictions, but I'm happy to say we've found a few successes!
My own personal success with the new client is getting him to try healthy yet tasty foods from different cuisines (as opposed to just sticking to 🇮🇹 & 🇫🇷)! We've gone from making faces at the mention of baba ganoush to asking for hummus to be a part of the weekly rotation! Growth!

In the past month since you'd started working for Charles, you'd taken over his mind.
At first, it would be him thinking of recipes you could add to the meal rotations. Then, it became seeing food memes and sending them to you. The most recent phase of infatutation was calling you over every free day to "R&D together".
Through it all, you stayed clueless. You were just happy Charles liked your cooking and was more enthusiastic about his meal plans.
Yet, the team was not so clueless. They noticed the changes in Charles' mood. His increased positivity. How much less arguing he was doing. But, they also noticed how he was always on his phone (and intern Amira was the one to peer over his shoulders and confirm it's you he's texting). How he lit up when they mentioned your name.
So, they invited you to pre-season testing. As a "gift" for dealing with Charles and his BS, they claimed. To make her feel she was part of the team, they added on when they saw the hesitance in her eyes.
She finally agreed when she asked Charles if she would be too much of a bother there and he quickly (much too quick if you asked anyone else) insisted you should. That he would make it fun for you.

Ferrari F1 Driver Charles Leclerc has come under a lot of speculation recently. Has he done something wrong? No. Quite the contrary, actually.
Leclerc, who just four months ago was seen at clubs weekly, hasn't been spotted at any clubs in the past two months.
Could it be that a lover has settled him down? Or has his team gotten sick of his BS at sat him down for a chat?
