"Like what?" Lewis asked.

"Like moving to Monaco." Nico had assumed the answer was obvious but apparently not.

"If you wanted me to move in with you, you could've just asked."

“whenever anything does not go your way you lash out with unnecessary anger and borderline violence!” george shouted.

“i can’t help it.” max said coldly.

“what do you mean?”

“the reason i’m so violent… is because i want you… violently…”

“you want me?” george asked, his giant blue eyes opening even wider.

“yes…” max admitted, and as george leaned in closer max stabbed him with his official red bull knife… but george had beat him too it.

they had both stabbed each other and max knew he was in trouble. behind him, george’s lawyer had already pulled up a powerpoint on why george was innocent, whereas red bull were too busy choosing his teammate for this week. he knew he could win an f1 race, but this legal race might pose more of a challenge…

seeing as your blog is the home of the oscarmark discussion group, i was wondering if you had any fic recs for them? i haven't really read loads of them so if there's anything you think captures their dynamic well, would love to see it

ohhh the way everything circles back to the beginning... here is my fic rec list, which is the (checks archive) fourth oscarmark post i ever made on here! it's certainly not a complete list and there's also multiple new fics in the tag i have yet to read, but i would also tack on damocles, which is an au oneshot but a great snapshot into their Vibe ++ what a childish thing, which is really a landoscar fic but is devastatingly well written and very good for getting you in the mood to flay yourself alive. happy reading!

A sharp tugging in his gut drew George towards one of the mirror fragments, if it could even be called a mirror anymore when it had morphed more into a window. He could see himself on the other side, but something about the image felt off. His eyes were slightly too blue, hair too perfectly tousled, and there was no warmth behind the smile he flashed in George’s direction. George shivered involuntarily. It had to be his mirrorself.

(Or, George is trapped in a mirror. He is only able to watch while his mirrorself takes control of his life.)

"This is an emergency," Jenson said as he ran up to Nico, eyes wild and hair even wilder. "You gotta help me."

"Sure, what is it?"

"I've nearly run out of cake. I can't compete in my home race without any cake!" Ah yes, Jenson's one true love: cake. A title Nico would never be able to even compete for.

"You look like that and you haven't run out? You've just nearly run out?" Nico was scared of the Jenson that would emerge were he to truly run out of cake. "OK, I believe there's a Waitrose nearby."

"Waitrose? No way, we are going to Lidl. More cake per pound."

Did Jenson not know Nico at all by now? He would not be caught dead stepping foot in Lidl. "Jenson, you are a Formula 1 driver. You can afford Waitrose but if not then Marks and Spencer is acceptable too."

"What about Aldi?" Jenson countered. Nico was going to have to break up with him at this rate.

"Final offer: Asda. And that is a one-time only deal. Never again."

"I'll take it," Jenson decided. "As long as I can drive."

It wasn't long before Nico and Jenson arrived at the nearby Asda, Jenson immediately leading Nico towards the cake aisle.

"Do you have every cake aisle location in Britain memorised?" Nico asked in disbelief. Jenson didn't answer.

The lights were too fluorescent, the people far too likely to recognise them and, worst of all, the food was definitely of a low quality. Nico examined some of the fresh vegetables on the way, and felt pure disgust that they were able to be sold.

"Here it is," Jenson announced cheerfully, eyeing the collection of cakes in front of them. Nico wished Jenson would give him even half the attention he gave cake. Although, he did have to admit there was a wide variety, from traditional cakes to fun cakes decorated for children's parties, lions and princesses and spiderman.

Jenson didn't take long to start piling cakes on top of Nico's outstretched arms, only stopping when it became heavier than both their regular gym weights. "My god, Jenson, how many people are you planning on hosting?"

"Just me?" Jenson seemed a little confused at the question. "It's gotta last me all weekend."

"After Oscar retired with only one championship, I knew he wasn't enough for me. I prefer my champions to have four," Mark shrugged.
