Back to fashion! Last night I was really struggling with what to wear. It was one of those "I have nothing to wear" moments, which, of course, is crap because I have plenty. I decided on this sweater that I got about a year ago from Forever 21. I loved the cuts in the shoulder and arm. It lets you show some skin, but covers enough so that if you're self conscious about your arms, you don't have to worry. The rest of the look came together really easily and this was the first time I wore my new heels! Loving them.
A note on the makeup: In the full-body picture, the lips look a bit chola-ish. Like I went really heavy with the brown liner and ended it there. But it's actually an ombre lip, so I included a close up to show you the detail!

I've been seeing this denim on denim look a lot in the past few years and I decided to finally go outside my comfort zone and try it out. The result was not as bad as I expected haha. I do, however, wish I'd chosen a darker lip for this look as it ends up looking too monochromatic with the double denim and nude lip. But alas, we all make mistakes.

Sorry for the unexpected hiatus. Hopefully we wont have another one of those for awhile. While I was away tho, I did some thinking about the direction/flow of the blog. I want to continue including my Plus Fit Tips, when applicable. Hopefully more of those will be to come. I also want to incorporate more of a review of products in my posts, because reviews are something I rely so heavily on and I think others will appreciate them as well. I'm open to hearing ideas of anything you may want to see though! And now, lets get to the reason we're here...
I picked up this sweater from F21 almost a year ago on a sale. If you don't know by now, I'm obsessed with olive so this was a must have. Unfortunately, since it's so old, it's not longer available, however, I do have a PFT for you.
PlusFitTip: If you're going to try an ombre look (and you should), make sure your ombre is dark at the part where you're biggest. In my case, the ombre gets dark over my stomach, which helps make it look a little thinner. However, if you have big boobs you're trying to minimize, you might want to find something with a reverse ombre. Play with color and light. Use them to your advantage!
