CeCe hated when someone said they needed to talk to her but that it’d have to happen later. She was the kind of person who needed to know now, so she’d been kind of on edge all morning, ever since speaking to her cousin. Filling their morning with fun things to keep Raffy entertained helped, though, and now they were back at the hotel room to drop off their bags of new toys and clothes before lunch, so CeCe figured it was the perfect time to call Aunt Sara. She’d have a lunch break around now, right? Plopping down onto her sister’s hotel bed, CeCe motioned her over as she held her phone out in front of her, hitting video call on their aunt’s contact and waiting for her to pick up.
