I thought most celebrities lost that everyday person status at some point with how paparazzi and journalists dig through their privates lives for stories. Have you been in any magazines? Maybe under the They’re Everyday People segment where they got a shot of you buying frozen yogurt? Or even playing that dinosaur game?
I mean, you only really see what’s out there in the media, so it may seem like they’ve lost their everyday person status, but if you spoke to them directly then you’d probably see that they haven’t. I’ve been in a lot of magazines, I’m sure even ones I don’t know about, so it’s very possible I’ve been in one of those sections. Oh man, I don’t know about the dinosaur thing, though. But also, my nephew is a huge part of my life, so the diehard fans that follow everything I do see him on my social media a lot, plus I bring him out on stage for certain shows when I tour, so they’d probably see a picture of me pretending to be a dinosaur and just be like “yep, she’s hanging out with Raffy again.”

You could come to an open mic….or just come to my place and we could jam, if that’s more your speed? Oh also - a triple triple threat who also happens to be….a TRIPLET. See what I did there?
I’d be down for both of those things! I love hearing live music, I love jamming with other artists, so they both sound great to me. Man, three is definitely your lucky number, huh?

The end of November, so I have a few more months before I have to accept that my life is over.
How long have you been living here?
A Sagittarius, huh? I hear y’all have some great energy. Don’t worry, your life totally isn’t over.
Only about a week. It feels like it’s only been a matter of days since I had to go to New York for a few days up until Thursday, so it’s all super new to me still.
reganxhudson·:
I’m a waitress so I’m constantly walking around and on my feet for super long shifts. I’ve spent so much on shoes and it so doesn’t matter how ‘good’ they are, you’re still going to be miserable whenever your shift ends.
If we can find a day that works for both of us, I’m down. It’s been while since I’ve gotten out and just walked around to some of the best places around here.
Oh man, yeah, I can imagine that’d be hard on your feet. Have you tried memory foam? I actually have a collaboration with Skechers, I could totally get you some memory foam ones to try if they’d be okay with your uniform?
For sure. I just got back from NYC, so outside of a few meetings I’m actually pretty free for the next couple weeks. Let me know what works for you and we can figure something out.
hummeljames·:
People pretty much have to try to really offend me. And at that point they pretty much deserve my wrath. So you’re safe. Especially if you say I seem chill.
So, I found you on Spotify and I have to say I’m impressed. Can’t say trying it during my workout was the best idea, as I usually like my music a little rougher then. But I might have added some to my work playlist, which doesn’t happen that quickly. So maybe since you moved here I might get a redo on that concert? Well, I’m a simple ‘beer on a Saturday night’ kind of guy, so I could recommend some nice bars around here. Or some nice coffee bars if you’re into that.
Okay, good. I’ll totally try to avoid your wrath.
Really? Thank you, that’s really sweet of you! I can totally understand my stuff not being super helpful during a workout, but I do have a couple songs they tend to play over the speakers at my old gym and they seemed to get people pumped up to some extent. If you haven’t already, try Confident, Really Don’t Care, Fire Starter and Got Dynamite, they may help with the workout. I actually just finished touring for my most recent album, so I don’t have any concerts planned for a little while, but I have been working on some new stuff already, so if I tour for my next album then I’ll totally keep a ticket aside for you for the Nashville show, deal? Oh, nice bars and nice coffee shops are totally my thing, I’ll definitely take those recs.

Soul food is amazing! Definitely one of my favorites, I’d have to say. Though, I’m always partial to Italian food. You can never go wrong with some spaghetti.
For sure. My sister definitely has good taste when it comes to food, she always seems to find the best restaurants. Oh, dude, Italian is totally hard to beat. Are there any good Italian places here in Nashville?
roxyharps·:
It was never a dull moment when CeCe was around– it’s why she enjoyed her sisters company so much, and after years of going without it, she’d forever be making up for lost time. With Raffy tucked in his bed, passed out from a morning of running around, shopping– she happily laid down in her own, arm flung over her face. Feeling the dip in the bed, she peered over and smiled at the phone being pressed to show her ‘Aunt Sara’ title flashing over. “Watch she’s not gonna answer because it’s you, she’d answer if it was me calling her.” She teased, tossing her legs over her sisters lap.
“Hey, I gave you a piggyback ride through New York City yesterday. You have to be nice to me,” CeCe teased, resting her elbows gently on top of her sister’s legs as she listened to the ringing from her phone. It was soon replaced by the cheerful tone of their aunt’s voice, with her face flashing up on the screen. “Hi, Aunt Sara!” CeCe chirped, waving with her free hand. She turned the camera toward Roxy to let their aunt know she was there, too. “Izzy said y’all had something to talk to us about. It’s nothing bad, right?” Her expression became less cheerful, and instead somewhat concerned as she awaited her aunt’s response.

I appreciate you going along with my silly story.
Definitely very, very French. While my twin got the more normal name, I got the French name but, hey, at least you think it sounds cool instead of douchey. Well, when I first met Malik, he decided to throw his snack all over my shirt and has consistently done it since… I guess it’s sort of our thing. What’s your nephew’s name? Ah, Madonna. I read about what she did and said during her ‘tribute’ — she just seems like the type to make it about herself rather than celebrating another artist and their career. What have you, your sister and nephew been up to while there? My favorite thing to do while I was at NYU was to go to shows. Have you been to one yet?
That’s so dope though, your parents clearly wanted to mix things up. What’s your twin’s name? I’m a twin too, but my sister and I have pretty plain names. Which kind of blows, because my mom’s name is Renata María, and was Renata María Córtez before she married my dad and became Harper, so where was the rad Spanish when they were picking out our names? That’s adorable, and definitely sounds 100% like Malik. What was the snack? Something that stained? My nephew’s name is Raphael, but we mostly call him Raffy. Dude, the “tribute” was very much about Madonna. It upsets me to say that it kind of changed my opinion of her. At least everybody else knew what a badass Aretha was, though, so it doesn’t really matter too much. We did a lot of stuff, to be honest. We obviously went to the VMAs, and Raffy looked adorable in his little tux. Then we did a lot of sightseeing, shopping, art gallery viewing (both me and Raf dig art). We actually didn’t catch a show, though. I wish we had, but there’s always next time. You went to NYU? That’s awesome! What’d you study?
chordpearce·:
If I had to choose between driving home from NYC or flying, I’d choose flying everytime I think.
Oh, for sure. I hate flying, but I’ll totally take the convenience of it. The worst thing is driving in NYC, and that’s coming from someone who dealt with four years of LA traffic. NY drivers are something else.
allisonweston·:
Yeah, it’s like I want it to be perfect before I can share them with the world, you know? But you’re right, it may be a good idea if someone read them and they gave me their opinion on what they like and what they don’t about my writing. You would? Amazing, let me know when you’re back and we’ll meet somewhere so you can read them.
Yeah, absolutely. That’s exactly the way I feel about my songs, so I totally get it. I’ve actually been working on a new song recently, so maybe I could show you that, you could show me your story, and we’ll share ideas? I’m back! Just let me know when and where is good for you and I’ll figure out how my schedule’s looking.
william-pietro·:
That is correct, I thought about getting my favorite bloom, but then my favorites change over time and mood. So I gave up on that particular idea. There are far too many decisions to make relating to getting a tattoo. – Ah, I have received comments on the way I speak before, but none that are so good-natured, so thank you. I don’t know about soothing, but I have been told I could bore a screaming hyena to sleep.
That’d be cool, though. Oh, in fact, you know what’d be dope? If you got whatever your favorite is, like maybe just a small one, and then when your favorite changes to something else, you get the new one inked beside it. Then keep doing that until you have this rad flower collection. Whoever told you you’re boring was totally lying, I promise.

Who ever stuffed and sewed her up for round two, did wonders.
Thank you, thank you. You’re pretty easy on the eyes too. Googles selection of ‘cece harper without make-up’ didn’t have me reporting your bare mug to Google for indecent exposure, instead it clocked you in on the top ten for the Snix ‘Em list.
There are some pretty rad surgeons out there, I guess. I’ve never looked into them myself.. despite what some may speculate about my boobs - plot twist, I just gained a little weight. But I’ve heard great things.
Dude, you didn’t even have to google it. You could’ve just looked at my Instagram. There are tons of no makeup selfies on there. One of them even comes complete with a bunch of sweat after a workout, it’s totally sexy. Is the ‘Snix ‘Em list’ something I want to be on..?
