To say she was upset would be a complete understatement but Marley was long past the point of crying now. Now she was mad, she was furious, it was like every bit of anger she’d ever pushed down, everything she kept in was coming to the surface only this time, she wasn’t completely terrified of it. But instead of throwing punches and pushing more people (even if she’d admit the small moment of pushing Santana had felt kind of nice) Marley had one thought and one thought alone and that was that she needed a comfort, a certain kind of comfort.
Which was how she found herself briskly walking up the driveway to the new Puckerman home. The place she had only been a few times when tutoring Jake, but this was definetly not going to be a study session.
Knocking on the door she tapped her foot a little impatiently, telling herself to relax. Though the moment it opened and Jake was on the other side, even with that obvious confused expression he was giving her Marley didn’t hesitate to wipe her shoes off before stepping inside and closing the distance between them, instantly wrapping her arms around him and hiding against his shoulder for a moment. As much as everything between them sucked, it was still Jake.
Tilting her head up slightly she brushed her lips against the shell of his ear. “I want to go to your room,” she whispered, pulling away and lifting her gaze to intently meet his.
