After explaining the situation and finally getting bobby pins from Bex, Keegan made it down to the first floor. Thankfully, the man Aiden had pissed off was decent enough to at least leave the door unlocked to give his roommate so chance at escape, but that also meant Keegan had no way to get out of this. He knew random roommate sorting was going to be interesting, but he never considered a chance at having to save his roommate from a sexcapade gone wrong.
Sighing, he closed his eyes and walked into the dorm, blindly throwing Aiden’s robe towards him. “I’m not opening my eyes until your lower body is covered. If I open my eyes and your lower body’s not covered, I will leave you here and lock the door behind me,” he stressed, “tell me when I can open my eyes.”
TAGGING: Sam Evans & Jessica (NPC).
WHEN: October 2003.
WHERE: Los Angeles, CA.
NOTES: Sam’s first love.
WARNINGS: None.
Sam remembers the very first time he ever fell in love. He was nine, and she was the prettiest thing he had ever seen.
Up until that point, the idea of liking a girl seemed outrageous, all the one’s in his class always called him names and weren’t very nice. He would much rather run around playing superheroes with his friends - why let a girl be mean to you when you could be Superman and save the world!?
This girl was different though, he could tell. She was new to the church that he and his family attended on Sundays, but unlike all of the other girls who would sit and play nice with their dolls after the service, she was outside running about with the boys. For a moment he had thought he was dreaming, it was like nothing he’d seen before. She looked so carefree, bright smile on her face as she roughed it up chasing everyone else around. He hadn’t ever seen a girl want to play games that he was into.
Right then and there, he knew that he wanted to make this girl his girlfriend. He’d seen what it was like in the movies, they would do all the cool things he did with his friends, but they would also hold hands. Maybe they would even run off into the sunset together.
The best thing about being a kid was the lack of fear of rejection. So, running up to her, he didn’t hesitate in introducing himself, obnoxiously blocking her path.
“Hi,” he greeted with a beaming smile, sending a wave her way, “I’m Sam. what’s your na-”
Apparently his introduction didn’t go as well as planned though because suddenly she was getting bowled over as another boy, Timothy, came in contact with her. Rushing to help her up off of the floor, Sam sent a glare to Timothy for hurting his princess, the other boy brushing himself off and running off like nothing happened. Sam had always been taught to make sure someone was okay if you hurt them, accident or not.
“Are you okay?” he asked softly, taking a quick look to make sure there weren’t any scratches or bruises.
“Yeah! I’m okay!” she replied quickly as she dusted herself off. “My name’s Jessica.” she greeted in return. “Thanks for being my Superman, Sammy.” Leaning forward, she placed a chaste peck to his cheek.
The blonde boy felt his chest swell at the action, a grin forming effortlessly on his face. She was perfect. And she had kissed him. He had always thought that it would be gross, that he would melt away from germs or something - but when nothing happened but his heart fluttering a little quicker than normal, he realised it wasn’t so bad at all. In fact, it was kind of awesome. He enjoyed the feeling and would do anything to feel it again.
Jessica ran off a moment later, wanting to get back to playing before her family went home, but Sam made himself a pact. He would make Jessica his girlfriend, no matter what.
Really, he did. They were fluffy and kind and tended to take the stress of a long day away with one, silly, simple look. Unfortunately, there was one dog that didn’t seem to share those same benefits as its many canine counterparts, and he wanted nothing more than to make Jaret’s life a hell of a lot harder than it needed to be: Roscoe.
Bee’s dog was adorable, and kind, and generally brought about this peace to all of the people whose lives he encountered -- all except Jaret. Frequently, when Jaret stayed with Bee, spent any time with her at all, the dog seemed out to get him. Constantly chewing on his shoes, stealing his underwear off the floor, even eating his food while in plain sight. And the few days when he wasn’t there, the absence seemed to make the dog’s heart grow less and less fond of him. Today was, indeed, one of the days Roscoe couldn’t be stopped: a hurricane plowing through everything that had come across it’s path. “Beezers, where the hell is Roscoe? I’m one-hundred percent sure that he’s off with my hat somewhere.” Jaret frowned, searching around the house for the puppy.
Gus felt oddly like a child in kindergarten. He was rather giddy because he had finally made a friend who he could call a best friend. He wasn’t the type to befriend people or become close with them. Lux was something completely different with how he’d gotten underneath the wire and wiggled his way into Gus’ heart so easily, but this was something different completely than even that. Gus had met Pierce in his natural elements spell casting class and the two immediately began snarking about the annoying freshmen in the class and they went out for a bite to eat after. It was a quick forming friendship after that and over the course of a few months the two males became literal best friends. Tonight was the night that along with Pierce and Jay; Selene, Violet, Aife, and Samantha were going to be hanging out at Lux and Gus’ new apartment they had just moved into.
“You have no idea how happy I am to be out of that dorm.” Gus told Lux while they were finishing unpacking their boxes. He took a break, approaching his boyfriend from behind, holding onto his waist and pulling him back against his chest. “My roommate drove me nuts and I couldn’t fuck you all hours of the day without him complaining.” He muttered, kissing the side of Lux’s neck.
Parker: has been secretly counting down for this day to arrive and now that it's finally here, he cannot wait to get out of the house. Today is a visit to the doctor's office. Now, most guys don't usually get excited for this type of stuff, but he's not like those guys. He might be able to see how the baby looks like. Parker is feeling little scared at becoming a father, but at the same time cannot wait. Lucky for him, he still has time to get himself prepared and ready before the little peanut arrives. "Dee, we're gonna be late for your doctor's appointment." Parker called out while making his way to the front door.
The apartment was quiet as Jackson walked through the first floor. He kicked the kids shoes to the side by the front door and smiled looking down at them. Having the twins had been a handful and now with the addition of Leia, things were hectic but Jackson was beginning to grow used to it. At first it was difficult moving in with Eva after the loss of their siblings and taking on their daughter made things even harder but now it was starting to work. Jackson and Eva were getting along and there was a positive vibe throughout the whole house which Jackson totally attributed to the fact it seemed like him and Eva were slowly getting back together.
Jackson was about to head to his room to get ready for bed when he noticed a few lights on down the hall. Eva must’ve been up doing some laundry. He made his way towards the laundry room and found he was right. There was his ex bending down in front of the washer, removing the clothes from inside. He had a great view of her ass and tilted his head to the side to get a better angle. Softly he bit down on the bottom of his lip and took a few steps closer to her. “Damn,” he whispered as he crept up behind her and placed his hands on her hips. Sliding them slowly from the back to the front of her, Jackson gave her a small pull towards him.
Nerves were too human of a sensation for a supernatural glamazonian like herself to ever experience. However, she didn’t know what else to peg as the reason for her shaky gloved hands and trembling knees - not to mention that bizarre sinking in her gut. It made no sense for her to be wracked with nerves. This wasn’t even the official crowning - just the taping of the finale. Bizarre though didn’t even begin to cover the itinerary for the evening - the fact she and her fellow finalists were prompted to tape three separate winnings, only to have the real one revealed weeks later was absurd to say the very least. Violet wouldn’t dare admit this to anyone, even herself, but what really struck her with fear was that her segment would never see the light of day, that this make-believe coordination would stay in today’s fantasy.
As she reeled through all these anxieties, she felt a cold hand brush her shoulder. Whipping around hoping to see her girl friend, her face fell when she met eyes with Pearl, reminding her that the other contestants were filming some interview with Alaska so the top three could prep in isolation. “Hey babe, I kind of need to ask you a favour-“ Violet’s eyes narrowed at the blond, fingers tapping impatiently on the vanity. “Bitch, why the fuck aren’t you in drag? We go on the red carpet in like an hour!” “Yeah, that’s kind of the thing… I was wondering if I could borrow your wig. Mine’s kind of a mess right now because I forgot to brush it out and I don’t have time to-“
Silencing her with a dramatic groan, Violet grumbled something about how she was lucky she had an extra one in her suitcase. Kissing her cheek out of appreciation, the stoner queen slinked off, still not upping the pace even in this time of urgency. Finding her phone, she fired a few texts to Katya, desperate for even a minor interaction with her lover in order to stay sane:
Violet: Guess who just had to donate one of her wigs to Pearl? God, the bitch is lucky I come prepared. Can’t say the same thing about her.
Violet: I miss you. I can’t see you right now but I know you look devastatingly hot. :-/////
Violet: If I weren’t tucked for the gods right now I’d suggest we go for a quickie in between takes. I could really blow off some steam.
The episode they had all been dreading had come and gone, and the viewership response was morbidly livid with the premature sashay, rightfully so too. Violet recalled the moment Ru had announced Kennedy's name, sentencing her to safety as the winner of the lipsynch. Her throat had already been dry from hollering in approval at their killer throw down, but right when it sunk in that Katya was cut from the competition, she was floored...speechless so to speak. She ached for the Russian bombshell since she knew how bad she wanted it and more importantly, how much she deserved it. On a more personal note, Violet could also feel herself falling for the 5th place queen and the thought of being without her sunny presence for the next week, was truly unbearable. Flash forward to now, everyone was up in arms over the unjust elimination and Katya was of course taking it hard since she was forced to relive her mistakes. Being her own harshest critique, she couldn't see past all the good she had done, only the bad and Violet knew that it was her job to restore that mojo so she could fully grasp what a treasure to the world she really is. So when Katya came home from running errands one night, she was welcomed by a flurry of papers covering the entire interior of their appartment. "I spent all day printing them and that's not even the half of it," Violet explained, rising from her spot on the sofa. "They're all the tweets, tumblr posts, YouTube comments, etc of the people who were gutted by your elimination but still believe and adore you. Y'know, just so you can get a visual of how amazing you are and that the whole world agrees...including and especially me."
