I know a lot of you guys could care less about the #towpig F450 but I do get some questions about it. The most common one is “how does it pull?” Well I can say with 0 reservations that it’s by far the most powerful and nicest truck I’ve ever driven. Everything is clean and well thought out. The hitch setup is rated at 33k lbs and removes in 10 seconds. People ask why I do not drive my Jeep to the long shows (>2 hours), it’s easy....the truck gets better mpg and it’s WAAAAY more comfortable to travel in, especially with the family. 🍺🍺. I’ve been getting a lot of questions about how the #towpig #f450limited did on her maiden voyage pulling heavy. Answer is simple, perfectly. No real unnecessary shifting on the highway, didn’t need tow/haul mode, and that wide turning radius on the 450 makes it easy to back up and maneuver. MPG was ok at 8-8.5 with the cruise set at 72. I got a little better at 65 but it was marginal. Two giant Jeeps aren’t the most aerodynamic cargo. I’m super pleased with it and when we got home, it pulled it up the mountain without any real meaningful transmission temp change. @ford made a good one with this rig 👌🏽👌🏽@alumiduty . 👊🏼|||||||👊🏼 . 🚧 Build details are always in my bio! After seeing what @the.muscle from @diesel.brothers did on his #f450limited I’m starting to get an idea on direction for this thing. Thinking about leveled on 37’s to keep the gooseneck towability.
