Had to make only one rib, so I made some quick and extremely dirty tooling to replicate the style of beads used in the original corsair parts.

Made a different take on the style of beading dies I've made in the past.

The original beads were made with a horizontal mill and radius cutter. I whipped up a quick tool and used the boring head to make the proper lower die with a 2" radius.

Aircraft from left to right are Skyraider, F9F Panther and an F4U Corsair. 🤙😎 Of note in this image is the Skyraider which looks to be SS-45. There is a series of photographs of this aircraft involved in a rather spectacular yet tragic accident on landing after colliding with Skyraider NE-41 of VC-12 squadron on January 14th, 1952.
