Welp… looks as if I’m ordering more parts from @vansaircraftinc. I was trying to trim the trim tab ribs that set too far back after ProSealing and, using a Dremel cutting disc, accidentally cut into the skin.
I may have to put Section 9 on the back burner until I can afford to order the replacement parts I need (it’s much more than this trim tab assembly).
Mistakes are frustrating but they also make it worth it when the entire project is complete.
I knew #MudDauber #wasps had taken residence in my #workshop while I was in the process of building it but I had no clue they made a home inside my #vansaircraft #rv10 elevator fairings! . I really do hope they won’t be able to get inside this summer and do this again! .
