From One Coast to Another!
The storm we’re enjoying here in the California bay area let up just long enough today for this delicious package to arrive at my door safe and dry! I couldn’t resist stealing a 2nd Ginger, Pecan & Coconut Biscotti - baked to perfection and shipped with care by Dawn in Massachusetts - before snapping this photo.
Some sweet, some salt, some crunch and some reading. A fantastic gift Dawn, thank you so much! This will be a lot of fun trying everything - such a thoughtful variety. For now though, I’m off to munch on another biscotti! ;)

From Hawaii to Rhode Island
I was so delighted to see that my swap gift this year came from gingerroot in Hawaii. You would think that air travel had just been invented the way I was talking to my room mate “ No, you don’t understand…It came all the way from Hawaii. Hawaii!”. l to r: Home made olive oil, Norwegian holiday cookies, coconut almond granola ( I was crossing my fingers for some great granola again this year!), a Madre chocolate bar, and a FLUX magazine.

Came home to find an amazing box of holiday cheer from Tom (tbitty690) in Brooklyn: Mud coffee, a lovely tin of orange spice cookies, halva with pistachios, cranberry ginger bread, maple syrup and Tbitty’s dry rub. Thank you so much, Tom!! It is especially sweet to receive a secret swap gift from enbe’s dad. Enbe, you’ve made the season so much brighter and more meaningful for so many!! Thank you.
