Absolute Martian Manhunter by Tirso Cons

Following up from the post about Aragorn’s physical appearance in the book, here’s what we know about my #1 fave, Faramir:

he has clear grey eyes

he looks like a young man (he’s 36)

he strongly resembles both Boromir (“the Fair”, according to Legolas) and Denethor (“more kingly than any man that had appeared in Gondor for many lives of men”; looks “more kingly, beautiful, and powerful” than Gandalf)

his height is repeatedly emphasized: he’s part of a group of tall men, turns out to be the tallest of them, seems “very tall” to Sam, and at their first meeting, Éowyn (a tall woman) thinks of him as “this tall man”; later he has to stoop down to kiss her brow

his hair is raven-black and, to go by his height, long

he has a “fair face” (described as such while he is dying)

he’s not as hardy as Boromir, who was broader and slightly shorter than Aragorn

his face comes across as stern and commanding to Sam, and stern and gentle to Éowyn

when they first meet, Éowyn immediately concludes that none of the Rohirrim could defeat him in battle
