Icarus hates the name Sherbert because it isn’t theirs in the same way their eye isn’t theirs

To them it’s just another thing that Quixis has changed, just another part of them that has been destroyed by this mysterious entity

Fable knows this

He knows about the names association to the false god and he knows about Icarus’ hatred for it

But that association is the exact reason he called them it

He doesn’t see or care for Icarus as his child anymore

He sees them as a gateway into Quixis’ power and cares for them as such

He doesn’t see Icarus as Icarus anymore, he sees them as Sherbert, an extension of Quixis

Oh gan if Im going to write that fable/tes crossover i need to actually suss out logan and Sarah's characters since they're so different from base game.....maybe this is too big a project hmmmmm

On one hand, Logan and Sarah driving Reaver underground is a good thing. Faraday keeps his industry and people aren’t, you know, starving in the streets.

The downside is that it makes it harder to keep an eye on what Reaver’s doing, the half-breeds, the slavers, all of that, so what I think is going to have to happen is instead of Page’s crew being resistance against the crown, they’re the resistance against Reaver, which is what they were doing anyway so it’s not that much of a change

Logan takes after Garth in every way but height (Sparrow is convinced he got it from grandpa Scythe). They have the same scowl, same tendency to vanish into research into days on end, and the same sense of “the universe is fucking with me, at all times forever”. Somehow Logan broke 6 feet and isn’t as good with magic, but he’s clearly Garth.

Sarah is a blend of the two almost perfectly. She has her father’s magic and Sight, her mother’s diplomacy and gunslinging. She looks like Sparrow, has a distinctly auburn tint to her hair, and when she becomes queen wears the same clothes that Sparrow wore.

Anon bc my main is cringe but I feel there's so much depth that could have been put into Reavers character that just wasn't. He could have been a really, really good character but instead he was so flat. I don't feel there was much depth to him at all when he had so much potential. He could have been a good villian-- or at least a good anti-hero.

I really feel like Reaver was going to be the end-series bad guy, but then lionhead got shut down, so. I’m worried that if fable 4 happens they’ll try to woobify him like they did to thanos and it was just insulting to me as a viewer, so. I think turning Reaver into an anti-hero, or focusing on imagined regret does him a disservice as a character. Not every villain needs to be sympathetic.

I want to add that I never interpreted his nightmares about Oakvale to be out of regret (at first, probably! but not as of Fable 2), but rather out of fear of missing a sacrifice and that’s all his brain can provide as manifestation, and nothing in Fable 3 implies that he still has them.
