So the saying goes.  So the Château Tremaine is encouraging.  This isn’t your typical community event.  It isn’t run by students from the university or for the benefit of a charity.  

No, this is something different.  Something bold.  Something a little decadent.

OOC INFO  

Dates: Thur Oct. 11, 2018 (8pm EST) - Sat Oct. 20, 2018 (10pm EST)

Location: Château Tremaine grounds , Berk - tents will be set up around the hotel and patrons will be able to get hotel rooms (for a premium fee, of course.) 

Details:  This will be all about Bavarian, German, and Bohemian style ale and food, and it will be after dark.  It’s as mysterious and shady as you can dream up.

Event Thirteen, Oktoberfest, is now beginning.  Please feel free to post starters.  Remember, this is an ongoing festival for adults and located in Berk, so characters can come and go as they wish.  Other threads and plots will still be happening.  Tag any starters or event-related posts fableevent13 and have fun! 

Also, please note, Maleficent will have a booth at the event.  Any other characters who would like to be involved in such a way, please feel free to contact one of the admins so we can post about it! 

At some point soon, I’ll have a menu of food/beer offerings available for you to use as a point of reference.

To welcome in the new season, Fableton University is hosting the Summer Fling Carnival Thing. There will be rides, games, and food for all. Come throw a pie in the face of your favorite professor, win a kiss from your crush at the kissing booth, or drench your favorite college athlete at the dunk tank. Art, music, and drama students will be showcasing their talents in the art tent or with live performances at the outdoor theater. All proceeds go to the Fableton University Scholarship fund. Come enjoy the start of summer and support your local students!

The event will run Friday, June 15 from 11 am EST until Sunday, June 24 at 10pm EST. It will be located on the quad at Fableton University. All characters/residents of Fableton are welcomed and encouraged to attend.

Eight months ago, The Black Dragon imploded in a blaze of glory.  Now it’s ready to come roaring back to life in the same fashion.  With a new location just off the Town Square, special Grand Opening cocktails for the seven deadly sins you know you’ve been committing, and a few of the proceeds going to a good cause, this is one event you won’t want to miss.  Be there or be cursed square.

MOST OF OUR TOWN’S RESIDENTS DIDN’T ATTEND HIGH SCHOOL IN THE MODERN SENSE, AND SO THEY MISSED THEIR CHANCE AT ONE OF THE GREATEST TRADITIONS OF GROWING UP IN AMERICA.  IN AN EFFORT TO CORRECT THIS, FABLETON’S TOWN COUNCIL IS HOSTING PROM NIGHT.  THESE POSTERS ARE UP ALL OVER TOWN.  ALL RESIDENTS ARE WELCOME, WHETHER SINGLE, IN PAIRS, OR IN GROUPS.  HAVE FUN ASKING DATES IN CREATIVE WAYS, SELECTING ATTIRE, PLANNING MEALS AND LIMO RIDES.  TICKETS ARE BEING SOLD AT THE COURTHOUSE.  THE BLACK-TIE EVENT WILL BE HELD IN THE BALLROOM AT THE COURTHOUSE.

The Summer Carnival event, hosted by Fableton University, has begun (as of 9 hours ago, oops.)  Please feel free to have your characters participate, post, engage.  Please use the fableevent12 tag when they do!  Participation is not required.  Other threads and plots do not need to be held, but may if you think it’s best and communicate that with your writing partner(s).    

Fableton Post will have additional information on tents, activities, food, and more as soon as I get around to writing up the post.

Daylight is burning and we’ve got more to share  Though frost is coming bringing crispness to the air.   Pumpkins to pick, and apples to bob,  Hand-pressed cider, the last corn on the cob. Mazes and hayrides, scarecrows and leaves   It all has to be seen to believe.  The council will be there, raising some funds To fill up the food bank before winter comes. So bring your family and all of your friends And celebrate Fall before it all ends.

Fall is a time for change, meant to be celebrated and enjoyed. A favorite season for many, the Town Council is hosting a Fall Festival. The Town Square has been entirely transformed. Every day of the festival, there is a full pumpkin patch, hay rides, a hay maze, food, and carnival games. There will be occasional special events throughout the festival, announced through the Fableton Post. All proceeds from the event will go to support the Fableton Food Bank, so attendees are also encouraged to donate food as well.

OOC INFO:The event will begin on Saturday, October 21 at 11am EST and run through Wednesday, November 1 at 10pm EST.   It will be centrally located in the Town Square and moved into the courthouse in case of inclement weather.
