facade au but instead of trip and grace, its the narrator and the player and you (as stanley) have to find a compromise before they either kick you out for being too boring/too rebellious, or before they both decide to give up the game forever

Rant post #10 - Facade AU Bella Donna

Her personality is Wendy's from the og show. It's really obvious, A+ student doesn't wanna cause problems vs the problem. She is still is smart but uses that smartness to either cause trouble or ragebait people (the deer girl specifically).

She and Rev met beforehand during middle school (getting off track but I forgot that freak show starts in high school and when I was making the au I completely forgot about that one major factor and had their ages to young adults. I changed it to the appropriate timeline so it's all good).

It was Rev who wanted to know Bella more but she refused at first thinking he was some weirdo. But over time, he kinda is but in a good way. Lowkey started using him to bail out of important school projects to "spend more time" with him, in reality, she just hated doing more school projects.

In Rev's pov, she was a good friend and she was growing just like him. She's flawed, so he isn't going to get mad at her for simply using him; it's just that she trusts him a lot. Sure buddy, keep dreaming she'll get better eventually, it'll only cost ya every sanity you got left.

She takes him for granted in middle school and works her way up to sorta not take him for granted but still is. She sometimes notices when he's down and tries to comfort him but only when he shows it.

Only when his comfortable because even though he has a brain equivalent to mush, he understands that she isn't the right person to talk to when it comes to emotions. She isn't that emotionally attached to him.

Does she ever get feelings for him? I don't think so. I think. Yuri, definitely, I just don't know how I'm gonna implement that in the story, or that fact how I'm gonna implement any romance in the story. I've never done romance because I'm never good at romance; I only do angst.

And if you've seen my previous works of her, and the reference I have, lowkey I wanna remake it because that stuff is outdated. She is half demon and half witch, that's one of the things I changed because it's kinda cringe. So she instead deals with the voice in her head.

Kind of a tomboy, why? I can't draw women; I only draw men. That's all I can spill. I made her character focus on how miscommunication can really ruin any kind of relationship, no matter how good or bad a person is. Also, to reflect on previous actions because the only person who understands you is yourself.

Rant post #7 - AU's (Alice Indigo)

I'm going to talk/rant about my au's while not spoiling too much. I have so many ideas in my head to make drawings or comics about them but once I grab my sketch pad and pencil, the motivation goes poof.

So yeah that's why I'm making this, I'm more of a yapper than making an actual fanfic because it'll end up like a chore instead of passion.

I have two au's in the making, Facade AU and Inhumane AU in freak show. Facade AU is a reversal AU, while Inhumane AU is a delulu Rev I'll get on this au in a bit.

I'm gonna first focus on Facade AU, mainly the main character, which is Alice(the deer character) (no, I didn't forget her name, correct me if I'm wrong but the word is a sacred culture to indigenous people. But since that creature, inspired by that character, has such a mischaracterization of its actual myth, it distorts the og idea of the creature. It's fine if they were characterized in a respectful way, like properly, how they're meant to be. I wouldn't say it's an offensive thing to say, but it's how the topic is handled that makes it sorta offensive in my opinion. )

Okay, if you didn't get what I just said, that's fine, let me simplify it. Imagine someone made an original work, it's pretty good and it inspires people to make their own. It results in something being completely different from the original work. And here's the thing: a lot of people really like it and use it, it becomes more popular than the original work and it results in a lot of misinformation about what the actual work is all about.

Out of all the characters that I have made so far, Alice is the one with major changes. Her name, her backstory, and her overall look. I really want to show what creature each character is inspired by. At this point, she could be classified as my new oc. I'll drop her design when I'm motivated to do so; the mask is gonna be the most horrid thing to do.

Her creature is this:

I can't say the name of this creature for cultural purposes; it's highly inappropriate to say. But for those who know, good job.

She would be more of half of that and half human-like. She can't turn fully human; she lost that in the past. She was given a glamour but she rarely ever uses it, only outside the school.

The glamour is made by the one who will wear it because it is required. When making the glamour, in its early stage, it's as dull as stone; there's no shine and no color. How it's made is that the stone will be put on the user's head and it will absorb their memories of how they looked previously. But what if they were born that way? Well, they will have to put it in their hands and talk to the stone and express what they want to look like.

After that, it will take shape and color and that's a full glamour, then it will be placed on an accessory because before then uhm.. they would swallow the stone to use it.

It's a device used to uncover any extras. It's extremely uncomfortable for the first time; it feels weird, it's like wearing a really tight suit basically. But those who use it multiple times and for multiple hours get used to it.

Ok, I went on a side quest there, and she is portrayed as a cold and quiet person. They forgot how to be human and sometimes act animalistic, some portray it as adhd but she doesn't know that. Mental health was something she didn't understand at all; it was taboo where she came from. What she was was also taboo, a disgrace.

In the friend group, she is the second oldest. The oldest is Sera. She's the tallest, somewhere around 6.4ft. But can become even taller in her animalistic form. She gets really pissed off when someone mentions the w word, and would rip their head off if she could.

Other than that, her knuckles are just bare bones, no skin or fur covering them. Oh yeah, besides hating the witch, she really hates and I mean HATES Rev for some reason, something about leaving her and trapping her for who knows how long. eh, some complicated stuff between someone familiar, someone she used to know and confusing them with Rev.

Hi hailcakes! Loved your Voltron facade artwork! But I just gotta know! What's the story of the Facade AU? Is their a fanfiction for that?! 8D

Thank you so much!! So I’m currently trying to get all of the background details sorted out for the au. The gist of it however is essentially a futuristic “utopian” type world where all of the alien races including humans reside. Its the classic ‘nothing is what it seems’ behind all the hi tech glamour (thus the name Facade, although it obviously applies to the masks as well). Allura, seeking to avenge her father who used to lead this world, forms a team composing of the main five.AND  yes there is a fanfiction that only has a little bit done but seeing as I’m not that good of a writer I never really picked it back up again! If enough people want however I’ll see about digging it out and making it an actual thing.
