Jenny had been feeling sick all day for the past few weeks and she hated it, and for ages she couldn’t figure out what was wrong, why she felt this sick and why she wanted to throw up every morning. After a long time, she started to realise that she hadn’t had her period that month and she started to realise what it was. It wasn’t that she didn’t want to be pregnant, but she wasn’t sure what Colin wanted and they had been together for four years and they were engaged and she was scared he would flee because he had always said that he was scared to be a dad. When she got home from work, she decided to take a few pregnancy tests, and after three tests she saw the positive sign, and she knew it and she had kind of expected it anyway.
It was a cold Tuesday night and Colin was just finishing work, so she text him and said that she needed to talk to him before they could have dinner. So she sat in the living room waiting for the guy to get back. As she saw him return, she smiled briefly up at him, “Hey.” She said quietly.
