Weakness
I’m feeling weak today. No it’s not a physical strength thing. I’m still freakishly strong (or so they say). No… it’s… a Facebook thing. There’s a part of me that wants to just say duck* it and install the Facebook app on my iPhone and see what’s going on in the old guitar gear groups. Yeah… weak. *I thought it would be funny to purposely use the word duck, which we all know is autocorrect’s…

people on tumblr are so much more creative than the people on facebook
This project made me realize that Facebook is a not really something I need in my lifestyle. The photographs in my Photo-Essay all depict acts that all correspond to the negative aspects of Facebook such as depression, addiction, and damaging social skills. I felt I should write my largest paper over this subject because I see so many ignorant people on these social sites and cannot think how much I truly do not care about their lives, and it is all the same garbage they talk about; usually being drama over boyfriends or girlfriends. I am hoping that when people view my Photo-Essay it can also register to them that Facebook is more of a distraction in life than anything. Down the path of life consider what will matter more: The stupid posts and anonymous people one became “friends” with online, or the memories and bonds one builds meeting and being around friends in the physical. Instead of logging onto your internet life and communicating with your internet friends, why not try going out and meeting some real ones?
