oh man I decided to listen to an old youtube playlist and this song starts it out and i remembered how I heard it on a BL ova 3 years ago and thought it was really pretty and told Laura about the song before we'd come out about that to each other and we had a fun time skirting around the topic all "oh uh, i found out it's from a yaoi...." all shifty eyes lol.

ohgosh and the "Hentai Heroes" meta/parody sailor moon comic I made based off my friends where we fought "the censor-verse" and there was nothing to actually do with hentai besides maybe some suggestive jokes/suspense (2008/9)

oh no and the Ouran thing except it was my friends and me all genderbent and at our high school and Appo's character was the butt of a lot of jokes (2008)

1. If you had to wear one outfit for the rest of your life what would it be? 

Hopefully the weather would cooperate-but my self-proclaimed hipster-french-soft-punk-militaire outift. It's a pair of light brown shin-length leather boots with my heart-print skinny jeans, any shirt could work but probably my pink H&M long sleeve one, my dark green knit men's jacket, and the grey knit beanie I lost at a Halloween Haunted Forest thing last year (I miss it a lot).

2. What was the last thing you bought for yourself? 

Um, postage for mailing a book I sold on ebay? That or a pair of shoes from the Muji store in Narita Airport because my other pair of shoes practically ripped in half earlier in the airport.

3. If you were required by law to own an anime body pillow (this would be a good law) who would be on it?  

MAKOTO TACHIBANA, GOOD LORD. (I actually have an Ichigo one and an Ulquiorra one because those were the only ones I liked at the last anime con I went to and like an idiot I bought both even though I don't watch Bleach...But I DID buy like, half-size dakimakura covers of the Iwatobi boys when I went to Otome Road in Ikebukuro this summer.)

4. Recommend a blog.

Hrmmmm I'd say catjoshi for BL manga reccs and alyssatye for art rn.

5. Describe your ideal dating sim premise or route.

As for otome, I really just want that fake Swimming Anime Dating Sim on dA to be fully playable all in one go. It's just too perfect, subverting everything and calling out all the hilarious cliches.

I would want to be the seme if it was BL, or at least have relationships where your player character and their partner are truly equal and switchable in "positions" I think, if it was BL/hentai? 

I don't have much real experience besides playing a little Starry Sky and Kamigami No Asobi without every really getting to any real route so yeah.

6. Do you have any OCs? Describe your favorite one. 

My favorite OC changes once in a while but it's usually between two. My main one right now is "Sergei Arkos Fyodorovich Dorynshnikov" who's a bisexual half-vampire and a fudanshi. He's half Greek and half Russian, and a prince of Vampiric Court but has older siblings that have priority for inheritance, so he's just a princely goof-off who loves humanity. He was born in 1990 and hasn't gone through Vampire Puberty yet-just a silly thing I made up where half-vamps live as humans until they go through vampire puberty which can happen at any age, and then they become fully immortal and blood-drinking. So Sergei is really hoping he's like a foxy 30 or 40-something year old by the time he turns.His story really stupid and campy and overdramatic but I love him.

7. Describe your personal aesthetic in six words or under.

KAWAII KAKKOII COMFY FUJOSHI ARTSY DUALITY

8. An item from your wishlist.

I can't decide which is top priority if it were possible, so HOUSE, CAR, HUSBAND, MAKOTO TACHIBANA, ONE BILLION DOLLARS.

9.Last good movie you watched.

I got my brother to watch Pacific Rim last night so if that counts...if not (like, the last movie i had never seen before but it was good?) then I guess The Great Gatsby (with LeoDiCap) on the airplane. Well, I watched Children of Men more recently than that but while it was good, it was also too harsh for me? More violence than I wanted to take I mean.

10.Least favorite character in anything ever.

Gosh, hmm...maybe... those "anonymous" characters in doujinshi that horrifically rape the main character? I hate reading a yaoi manga/doujin to find out it's that way. Like, I admit I enjoy some kinky shit and rapey-fantasy yaoi but most of the time it goes too far. I just get sick in my gut and I hate that rapist character. Like, all I wanted was fluffy smut with HEART. umu

i was honestly trying to study

it was midnight and I was trying to read the book I need to give a final presentation on, but I could not concentrate and was dozing off despite listening to a metal/techno song at the time, and I caught myself legitimately thinking that since Pocky is Hungarian and so is her family, they obviously could turn into bats and fly where they needed so why would they ever need a car even in the rain at night???

and yeah I realized what I had been thinking about and decided to give up.

I'm going to bed now.

man, i really needed a few more days back home before returning to my apartment-dorm and starting the semester, I feel much worse, empty and alone, than I did over the summer, and even last fall semester. this sucks. i wish Pocky was here as my roommate again!!! I'm falling into a deeper depression than my normal shallow one...
