#fact checking cbr

I’m going to go to war with cbr. Two articles about the same story which is great btw. One like wow she’ll fight dr destiny, the second being omg what a whimp a child fooled her. The child is dr. Destiny. So like i hate them

I feel like I’m just going to have to start making a series of fact checking comic book resource dot com whenever they mention Zatanna. Because like for goodness sake. The article they just published is titled “10 heroes Wonder Woman has never beat in a fight” and on the list is Zatanna.

It starts off by saying the two have never fought. Which is false. The two have technically fought 4 times. One is or was canon and I consider it a draw, one in a JLU comic which was a loss for Zatanna, they technically fought in the new 52 which is technically a win, and the last was a win in the tales from the dark multiverse in which there’s an evil Diana who is defeated and captured by Zatanna at the cost of several other heroes deaths.

The new 52 fight happened during the trinity war event. Several heroes are fighting over the corruptive pandora’s box. Zatanna manages to a) protect herself from the corruption b) fend off every hero in the fray including Aquaman, Hawkman, Frankenstein, Black Orchid, Lex Luthor, and Wonder Woman and c) escape from the battle with the help of John Constantine. (Image below) it’s one of my favorite feats.

The draw was in a limited wonder wonan series back when Zatanna was wearing her bug head outfit. Diana is under some magic evil influence and is doing not good things on Themyscira. Zatanna arrives, the two battle. Zatanna is then forced to focus on saving hippolyta which if I remember correctly either allowed Diana to escape or temporarily knock out Zatanna. Diana literally couldn’t have done it if she hadn’t attacked her own mother which wouldn’t happen normally so i say it’s a draw but you wouldn’t be wrong in calling it a loss *sad face*

Like don’t get me wrong 100% I believe Zee would win because of my obvious favoritism but for cbr to just continuously make stuff up or like lie? is irritating. I’ll probably put in the issues the fights happen in later, and those are just the three I remember/am aware of.
