Dampfspeicherlokomotive Orenstein & Koppel (O&K) 7394

Gebaut 1917 für die Papierfabrik Peter Temming AG, Werk Itzehoe (Schleswig-Holstein), Deutschland. Heutiger Standort ist das TextilWerk Bocholt (LWL-Industriemuseum).

Fireless locomotive Orenstein & Koppel (O&K) 7394 Built in 1917 for the Peter Temming AG paper factory, Itzehoe plant (Schleswig-Holstein), Germany. Today's location is the ‘TextilWerk’ Bocholt (LWL Industrial Museum).

Henschel 25461 Dampfspeicherlok G.E.E. 3 Henschel 25461(Baujahr 1953) ehemals im Einsatz in der Erdölraffinerie Emsland in Lingen (Deutschland). 
Heute steht diese schöne Lokomotive im Heimatmuseum Unser Fritz in Herne. Fireless locomotive G.E.E. 3 Henschel 25461(year of construction 1953) formerly in service in the oil refinery Emsland in Lingen (Germany).
Today, this beautiful locomotive is in the local history museum Unser Fritz in Herne.

“Zucker-Susi”

Dampfspeicherlokomotive Henschel 23007 am Bahnhof Euskirchen 

Ehemalige Werkslokomotive der Zuckerfabrik  Pfeifer & Langen. Leider ist diese schön restaurierte Lokomotive mit Graffiti versaut worden 😒. Die schlimmstem Schmierereien habe ich weitestgehend versucht weg zu retuschieren. Ein Bild bearbeite ich noch etwas intensiver und liefere es nach 🙂 Ich wünsche Euch noch einen schönen Restsonntag.

Unfortunately, this beautifully restored locomotive has been vandalised with graffiti 😒. I have tried to retouch as much of the worst graffiti as possible. I'll work on one picture a bit more intensively and will deliver it later 🙂

Krupp “Hannibal” 1493

(English text below) Die 1935 gebaute Heißdampf-Lokomotive Typ Hannibal wurde für die Hafenbahn in Neuss (Hafenbahn Neuß VI) geliefert. Später gelangte Sie nach Hamm zur Zeche Heinrich-Robert) und wurde in den 60er Jahren zur Nassdampf-Lokomotive umgebaut (heute würde man dazu sagen „ein Downgrade vorgenommen“). Sie wurde 1972 außer Dienst gestellt und verbrachte einige Jahre als Spielplatzlokomotive in Hamm. Heute steht sie im Eisenbahnmuseum Stadtlohn, wo Sie unter einem Wetterschutzdach aufgestellt betrachtet, werden kann. Das Typenschild auf der Lokomotive ist nicht das Original und verweist auf die Fabriknummer 1994.

Zu bestaunen gibt es diese schön restaurierte und gut gepflegte Lok am alten Bahnhof Stadtlohn (Eisenbahn-Club Stadtlohn e.V.).

 The hot steam locomotive type Hannibal, built in 1935, was delivered for the port railroad in Neuss (Hafenbahn Neuß VI). Later it went to Hamm to the Heinrich-Robert colliery) and was converted to a wet steam locomotive in the 60s (today one would say "downgraded"). It was decommissioned in 1972 and spent a few years as a playground locomotive in Hamm. Today it is in the railroad museum in Stadtlohn, where it can be viewed under a weather protection roof. The nameplate on the locomotive is not the original and refers to the factory number 1994.

This beautifully restored and well-maintained locomotive can be admired at the old Stadtlohn station (Eisenbahn-Club Stadtlohn e.V.).
