The reasons behind the false news deletes.

With the gun debate front and center in the news the last few weeks, there have been a lot of posts on Facebook for and against gun control. To be clear, I’m for gun control and the ban on certain types of rilfes., but with the debate front and center on social media like Facebook I have quickly learned that this is a hot button issue. I want to people to debate but I have been hit with false news from the pro gun side.

I can’t stand liars, so I started calling them out and they would say “I know it’s not true but it’s funny” or “it’s a meme” which is not okay, spreading misinformation and false news and stories is bad for our society and for people whom will believe these things as being true.

So on Facebook and Twitter I have started to call people out for misinformation and false stories, and those who continue to post lies and false information after being showed facts from sources that are easily verified by a quick search will be removed from my social circles. I can not and will not be friends with people who post misinformation, even after they are shown the facts just because they feel like they can.

This false news and misinformation makes me angry and upset with inturn effects my mood and ruins my day and I simply won’t stand for it anymore.

So please, don’t spread false stories. Stand up for what you believe in even if it’s not what I believe in, but do so with facts and be ready to back your facts up. Facts First Please!
