Hi! For a Valentine’s date I would have to choose my bae, Cal-Pal and it wouldn’t really matter what we do but I would love to go on a carnival date with him or something and have him win me a stuffed teddy and take me on the Ferris Wheel and roller coaster and it would be so fun. >.<

You’re both smart and do well in school, you both love penguins (which is good because Luke is a penguin) and have similar music taste! You seem incredibly cute and fun and you and Luke would compliment each other very well!

Tomorrow was Valentine’s day. Valentine’s day. Valentine’s day.
And I forgot. I forgot that tomorrow was Valentine’s day.
I didn’t buy a card. I didn’t make reservations. I didn’t buy tickets to some over priced movie. Nothing. I forgot.
Now I was scrambling to find a restaurant that would take two teenagers in less than 24 hours. Nothing. Not one restaurant had an opening. No movies had two extra spots and I had no idea what to do.
Vegas was going to be so disappointed. It was bad enough that I was never home but to forget Valentine’s day? She would hate me. It pained me just thinking of the look on her face when I had to tell her we were just going to have to stay in and order a pizza and watch stupid TV show re-runs. Sure that was fine every other day but it wasn’t special. I could just see the hopeful look on her face now, expecting something special that I couldn’t give her.
So I had to make a plan. Something that she wouldn’t forget the way that I forgot about Valentine’s day.
But I could think of nothing. I was blank and I had no idea. There’s nothing that I could think to do in less than 24 hours.
Interrupting me from my thought, Ashton waved a hand in front of my face.
"You look someone killed your dog, Luke. What’s wrong?" He said gently with a questioning look on his face.
"I. Forgot. Valentine’s Day." I said slowly to him burying my face into my hands. "What do I do Ash? She’s going to hate me." I mumbled into my fingers.
"Okay well first off, Vegas isn’t going to hate you. Second have you tried-" He began but I cut him off.
"Yes, Ash, I tried. I tried everything! There’s nothing! I can’t make reservations anywhere! Everywhere is full. What do I do?”
"You don’t have to take her somewhere with a reservation to give her the best Valentine’s day, Luke." Said Michael across the room.
"Well what would you do?" I asked him annoyed. Annoyed with him, annoyed with myself. Annoyed with this stupid holiday or whatever it was.
"I don’t know, where did you meet her? Take her back there or something make a picnic or something with candles. She likes those." Calum said from beside Michael.
"We met on an air-plane, Calum. I can’t make a picnic on an air-plane."
"Okay then. Do you guys have like a special spot or something? Like where you go to get away or something lame like that?"
"No we don’t but I… I’ve got it! Yes, it’s perfect! Thanks guys!" I said hopping off the couch suddenly causing Ashton to jump and curse at me.
And with that I made a dash to go and make Vegas the best Valentine’s day she’d ever have.
"Luke! Where are we going!” Said my girlfriend sitting beside me in the moving car.
I chuckled and laced my fingers between hers. “Patience, My Darling. We’re almost there.”
"Can I at least take off this stupid blindfold?" She questions with a giggle.
"Absolutely not, that would be even worse than telling you where we’re going!” I told her with mock appal.
"Luuuke." She whined and I only shook my head at her chuckling,
"Alright alright, we’re here, you impatient princess." I said and she stuck her tongue out at me while I pulled into the gravelled parking lot.
"Can I take the blindfold off now?" She asked.
"Nope." I replied and made my way over to her door and opened it taking her hand in mine. "This way, My Queen."
"Luke, I am going to hit if you keep doing that." She said tripping over a rock on the ground.
"Careful, there’s a rock there." I said to her chuckling and if she didn’t have the blindfold over her eyes I would have seen her roll them.
"Okay." I said softly moving behind her and untied the blindfold from her eyes. As it fell from her face, I saw her features turn into a look of astonishment. Score one for Team Hemmo.
I watched as she looked over the moonlit lake, taking in the string of lights falling from the branches of the willow trees, grazing over the lit candles surrounding the soft blanket facing the soft lake.
"C’mon, beautiful girl." I whispered behind her, taking her fingers between mine and leading her over to the blanket where I had set up a bottle of champaign and two long stemmed glasses.
We sat down and I made note of the look of awe in her eyes as I poured the beverage for her.
"Happy Valentine’s day, Venus."
She turned to me and smiled whispering a “Happy Valentine’s day, Luke.” as she took the glass placing in beside her and crawled into my lap wrapping her arms around me and placing a light kiss on my lips. “This is amazing.”
I smiled down at her. “I’m glad you like it.”
"It must have taken you so long to do. I love you, Luke Robert."
"I love you too, Vegas Soleil." I said smirked to myself because she had really no idea.
