Bramble Sprite

Children's book author Steve with massive writer's block which means his next instalment of his magic series is slow and his fans sad. So he holes up in a cottage in a quaint countryside away from the noise of the city to try and get something out.
Only to be antagonised by a tiny but thorny bramble bush sprite named Eddie. Who is 7 inches of pure fury at the human invading his space and messing up his garden.
Because Rich Boy Steve who's only played sports on grass wants to try his hand at gardening, only to have this tiny bramble hat clas sprite buzzing around his hollering "Nonono don't move that rock! That's the Mrs.&Mrs. Pillbug's house!! Just put the flowers here there's room, don't touch the dandelions that's for snackies!!"
It doesn't stop until Eddie makes him cry one day, "Do you even know what roots are man?" and Steve bursts into tears because no he's never been allowed to garden with his mom because a man doesn't do that that's a woman's work.
In the end, Eddie grumbles, helps him and then helps him with his book. Giving him magic tips like "No Steve that won't work because the theory of air magic just doesn't allow flight that way. There are rules to these things,"
The first time Eddie gets big, because he can actually he just doesn't like being big it's annoying he says, Steve takes him to town, scares him with traffic lights and the veggies at the supermarket trapped in translucent prisons.
