@faeofheart asked: ❛ dangerous to be out so late. ❜ it wasn't the first time he'd caught a scent like hers, all mossy and herbal and profoundly magical. it was, however, the first time (to his memory) that it had gone with ice and frost and all things Winter and that was.... intriguing. he wonders how much of him she can see -- does she see the fangs? the claws? do their eyes look molten gold, or just a slightly strange hazel? there's no question she must see the way his eyes reflect the streelights inhumanly, grin just a little too wild for safety. ❛ especially for someone like you. just who are you, little ice witch? ❜
“Ice witch? Well, that’s a new one,” she gave the person a rather quizzical stare as she turned around to face them. True enough, it was dangerous to be out so late, for some. It was hardly first nor would it ever be the last time Morgan would ever wander out into the dark at all hours in the morning. It was the best time to catch the monsters in action, human and supernatural alike. Whoever stood before her now was certainly associated with the latter. Though she could not pinpoint exactly what they were, something pulled at the nerves in her stomach, something whispered in her ear like a faint echo that the person was not one to be trusted. But they were magic, and most certainly powerful magic indeed. She would have to tread carefully. Their smile was creeping her out a little.
“I’m not afraid of the dark, rest assured,” Morgan smoothed her hand around the curve of her hip, feeling for one of her favorite daggers holstered securely against her thigh and beneath her wool coat, “I’m just someone who’s out for a stroll tonight, is all. On my home from work and, I thought I’d take the scenic route.
