Is this a faery? Or dust? I don’t usually see dust in the sunlight in my room and I just started attempting to learn, and interact with the fae. I won’t be offended if you say it’s dust! (It’s from a Live Photo on my iPhone, zoomed in)

I like, have to ask, what happens to an adopted animal? Can they usually see and interact with fae? Are they still left on earth? (Versus 'spirited away')
The Fae Speak:
It is the same for them as it is for a human. Humans are animals, after all. Some may be taken away by the Fae, some, just as with the humans, may be left here on this plane, yet have ‘claimed’ them theirs. A lot of animals can see Fae, although, not all of them. Humans can not, do to their limited physical eye sight. Cats can. Some dogs, but not all. Birds can very well.
