DAY 10: HEART!! Everyone has a part of themselves hidden from most, and for Fawful it's the love that radiates from his soul every day I've spent with him for almost 6 years now. I try to express it through my art so it becomes more of a tangible thing in this world, so others are able to get a small glimpse of the man I love.

I haven't always been the easiest to deal with, but his patience with me has been profound and he's even had a lot of advice to offer based on the mistakes he himself made in the past (even if he still won't admit most of them were mistakes, but shh-)

"Don't do what Fawful did" is something I've come to hear time and time again in the dreamscape, and even if my life isn't that of a cartoon villain, I know exactly what he means when he says it. He's seen many sides of me and stuck by me through it all and that's more than I could ever ask for. You never truly stop getting to know someone, and I look forward to doing that for the rest of my life.

DAY 8: AMBITION! Honestly, Fawful's passion is one of his strongest traits imho. I've always been drawn the most to people who have DREAMS and who are willing to chase them and Fawful is no exception. While one could argue his dream was an inappropriate one to have considering it cannot be obtained without stealing it from someone else, I'm not here to argue the morality of it all - Fawful occupies the role of the villain for a reason.

All I'm here to say is that I'm obsessed with him for it. And at the end of the day I must admit that yes, I do believe he would make a great king if he were only given the chance to be.

DAY 7: FASHION!! Did you notice Fawful has THIS many separate outfits he wears throughout Mario & Luigi? You can tell this bean values his appearance and carries a look for every occasion! It perfectly compliments his theatrical nature and makes me admire him all the more for stepping into every situation PREPARED and FABULOUS. This also shows up in his taste for fancy interior decor that he bestows on every location he claims as his own!

Regarding the statue, a question I've always had is if he dressed himself in Peach's garb in order to mock her after having taken over her kingdom, or if it was because he enjoys feeling beautiful as much as any princess would. He's yet to tell me which it was, so I will continue to sit and wonder until then!

Either way you look at it, I can relate to Fawful's love for beautiful things and colorful whimsy!

DAY 5: HANDS & FEET! I always found it interesting how so many Beanish people are shown to have 4 fingers, but Fawful is one of the few who has five! (Queen Bean is another!) Since I have four, that's even more for me to hold! 😳

DAY 4: BODY!! Um. Well... He's round and cute, I guess... that's all I think. [my nose proceeds to grow 10 feet long off my face bc of the strength of this Lie]

DAY 3: EYES!! In this case, eyes include both the glasses AND the eyeballs themselves! Fawful, like most other beanfolk, has a pair of diminutive eyes behind his swirly spectacles... (Not unlike their Mushroom Kingdom neighbors to the north, the Toads!)

FUN FACT: it's widely believed that the swirly glasses trope developed as a way for artists to stylize the visual distortion that thick lenses create, and given that thick lenses come hand in hand with strong prescriptions, we can assume Fawful has very poor eyesight when he's not wearing his glasses!

(I should know, I've had to stop him from tripping into bed more times than I can count... 🤭) But glasses or not, I'll always think you're excruciatingly handsome, Fawful.

DAY 2: TEETH!! I'd say "don't get me started" but getting me started is the whole point of this series so LMAO. I'M OBSESSED WITH HIS TEETH?!?!!? WHERE DO I EVEN BEGIN

Large smiles are common amongst the Beanish people, but Fawful stands out even so! The reason he always has his teeth showing isn't because he's always smiling, but because there simply isn't enough lip to cover them fully! He couldn't hide them even if he wanted to, but that's never a problem for me as I find them to be a gorgeous part of his overall anatomy. (It's one of my favorite things to see when I wake up in the morning, tbh...)

The pride he has in his own smile is made obvious by the fact that he insisted a large portion of his minions in Bowser's Inside Story wear the same grin.

(Headcanon time: Fawful, as a scientist of immense genius, has his own toothpaste recipe! Special teeth need a special formula, and since his chompers are always exposed to the air, he formulates his toothpaste to keep them not only healthy and white, but extra glossy as well!)

Day 1: HAIR!! I LOVE HIS HAIR!! The fact that he's balding makes him even more attractive to me, which I know might sound wild to some but it speaks of LIFE EXPERIENCE and also it just works with the rest of his features in such a balanced way.

His emblem wouldn't even be the same without that small tuft of hair! It all comes together so beautifully.

(Also, it's fun to play with too... and I love watching him melt like putty in my hands when I do but shhh-)
