I saw a tiktok video showing the states with the worst mosquitoes and nobody could believe Alaska was #1 and were accusing OP of joking. The video was entirely correct and if you’ve ever been here you will know that the swamps of Florida and Louisiana have NOTHING on the monsters flying around every summer in the arctic.

I love commissioning art because it feels like preordering myself a surprise for a random day in the next few weeks. Puts a little pep in my step.

I have a come up with a few recipes of my own now since I started making drinks in the arctic and my favorite one so far is marshmallow soda. It’s a roasted vanilla cream soda with half and half and I can’t get enough of it.

It’s soda water, so just carbonated water. Then vanilla flavor syrup and caramel flavor syrup (the caramel is what adds the ‘toasted’ aspect to the vanilla. It makes it develop more of that campfire taste when combined.

Then a bit of half and half to top it off which makes it creamy and it tastes like drinking liquid marshmallow cream with a soda kick. I’m crazy.
