this goes out to all my trans (boy) mutuals.

Listen to me. This summer we’re not going to use a binder. Okay? We’re going to invest in tape and learn to put it on and off without hurting ourselves. We’ll find ones with glue that were not allergic to. We’re not going to crush our lungs and rib cages in the heat that will come. We’ll wear tank tops and chill out shirtless. We won’t be wearing oversized black hoodies all summer. We won’t be getting heat strokes. We’ll stay hydrated more than ever. Take up space. Hang out at the park. Maybe have a barbecue on the meadow behind the Forrest. Not start a wildfire. Go to the public pool if our friends invite us. Or just go swimming in a lake or river.
