Apply for in-school NTPs now!

Hi everyone! We have had so many classes lately and that has been great, but I'm sure some of you would like to enhance your role-playing experience.

Not much has been said about NTPs since our move to Habboon, but hopefully this post will get our newbies interested. A NTP is a non-teaching position, this means you are -H- staff, but are not a professor. There is a wide variety of choices as shown in this list here. All years can apply for positions (some require year 7 status) which is very exciting! An example of this would be a librarian.

Out of school NTPs are on hold right now seeing as we don't have out of school areas rebuilt, but honestly this will probably be very much in the future (PLEASE do not ask to build any OOS rooms as of now).

As we announced our first trial professors on Habboon two people were chosen for NTPs, but seeing as they have not sent a scene summary to me yet, their NTPs have been terminated. This means ALL roles are open and you can find them in the link given in the second paragraph. 

I hope everyone applies for what they would like to. Also, if you have a position in mind that is not on the list contact me and give me your proposal! Remember that those whom possess an NTP must send me (Sydney) two roleplay scene summaries every Sunday. 

NTPs will be announced separately than trial professors.

-H- On Hold

Hello everyone! As I am sure you all have noticed, the last few posts have been staff members leaving. Unfortunately, the blow is quite detrimental to our roleplay as a whole and right now we need time to pick up the pieces that we have left of this roleplay and try to put it back together.

In the mean time, -H- will be put on hold. This does not mean our small community that we have built is completely abandoned! Use this time to add each other on things like KIK or Skype so you all can keep contact. Unfortunately, while we are "on hold", the cbox will be as well because it costs money. In a few days it will be offline, so use these days to collect information from each other! 

I will let you all in on a small secret, over the passed few weeks we have been building on Habboon. It was our intentions to move from Fatal to Habboon to gain more users, but the building process got slower and some issues were created within our own staff which kind of threw a wrench in our plans. When our roleplay starts back up it will most likely be on Habboon, so if you are looking for a new hotel to hang around on, I would recommend that one! You might even see some of us staff hanging around once in awhile. 

Please feel free to use any -H- rooms on Fatal to scene or anything else whenever you want. There are plenty more Hogwarts roleplays on other hotels, and many more different roleplays which some of you may want to explore as well. Trust us, we will in no way be offended if we see you roleplaying somewhere else, we actually hope you continue.

As for our staff; thank you for all the help you have given to our roleplay. It would be nothing without you! Please note you all have been removed from the -H- group on Tumblr. When the roleplay starts back up for any of you who still wish to continue your wizarding professions you will most likely have to re-apply, but that will be discussed at a later time.

Please remember this is NOT goodbye! This is only be back later. We need time to gather our thoughts and ideas and hopefully get this roleplay back on its feet as soon as possible.

Homework:

Draw and create a new plant you have originally designed. The plant must include 1 defensive property, 1 thing correlating to potions (ie a part of the plant that's used in potions) and 1 thing correlating to medicine. [for the drawing portion this can be done on Paint, Photoshop, drawn in real life, etc.]

Plant Name: Squab Plant

The squab plant is a small orange ball similar to a pumpkin, though it has no stem. It's roots are connected through the bottom. The defensive property of this plant is that when all predators get near the plant, it explodes, thus ending its life as well. The guts that come out of the explosion are highly poisonous. The roots of this plant can be added to potions, most potions it is used in are for darker purposes. Finally, the medicinal properties of this plant include that when the skin of the plant is shredded and made into a paste, it reduces swelling.

Addressing "World of Hogwarts"

Well as most of you know some of our old users decided to astray and build their own Hogwarts. This is fine. We are not closing -H- or anything.

This has also stirred up a lot of drama we have noticed and we don't want it interfering with the roleplay itself. Please keep your drama to PM or non-hogwarts rooms. We don't need people going to the other roleplay because ours "has too much drama".

I also want to address the fact that I noticed a few people were saying they were moving to the other hogwarts because "they were being forced to roleplay". This kind of makes me shake my head a little because, -H- and WoH are both roleplays? If you do not want to roleplay why are you in a roleplay room? I mean if you want to talk to your friends go to either your room or an empty -H- room. 

Another thing to address is a lot of you have been saying there isnt much roleplay going on, well honestly the lack of roleplay is not staffs problem really. You guys need to roleplay with each other and create your own scenes, we cannot feed them to you.

Anyways, we just want everyone to know were not going to turn you away if you have been "caught" roleplaying at World of Hogwarts. But let me tell you -H- is not going to die, as long as our users continue being our users then everything should remain the same.

Hello everyone, today has come! It is finally time for all of you to be doing your Herbology OWLs and NEWTs. I figured instead of me trying to find you all online and on the forums I would just publicly post the board password here for you all to easily find.

Out of School RPing & NTP Positions!

Hello -H- users! Very exciting news. In a day or two we will be offering Out of School roleplaying options! We will have London, King's Cross, Diagon Alley (and all of its stores) and the whole shabang. Hopefully this will encourage more roleplay from all of you because it gives you more scening opportunities!

Now, what's even more exciting about the OOS rooms is that we will be expanding our Non-Teaching Positions over to it as well! This means you all will have the chance to apply for things such as a shopkeep, a banker at Gringott's, an Innkeeper at The Leakey Cauldron and much more. To see the vacant positions click here. At the end of that page also includes the link to the application format if you would like to apply.

Please remember these NTP positions are  all adult characters, and they cannot be combined with your student characters unless you are graduating.
