Very slowly increasing the power. I got a good team. Nobody in this post us over 170lbs. We all have the ability to do anything we want. Sometimes it just takes someone else to bring it out of us. Removing Failure
Today as I was driving home from the WOD I thought to myself- ugh- that was a total failure! Then I mentally b****-slapped myself and brought myself back to my positivity. There is no failure if you do not give up. Today's WOD was a beast. I had an "episode" part way in and felt like I was going to have a repeat of my very first day one. It was discouraging as I sat there wondering what caused it. I ate. I hydrated. I've been fine. Who knows, but I told myself I wasn't going to be defeated and I wasn't quitting. I was finishing the WOD. Today's WOD: 21-15-9, Goblet Squats and Kettlebell Swings with a shuttle run between each round, then immediately in to a 9-15-21 Handlift Push-Ups and Standing Lunges. After my second round of GS/KBS I had my "break." (Still super disappointed about it- but glad I bounced back and finished.) Like I mentioned earlier, I thought to myself FAIL! But in all reality- it wasn't a failure. I finished. I also hit a new milestone for myself. I did not do incline push-ups. I have moved on to "girl push-ups" from my knees. PROGRESS! All in all, I'm happy with how today panned out. Progress and follow through- what more can you ask for?
