i mean, your lease should be a year long, so either just renew it when the landlord asks if you're gonna renew it or find a new place where the new lease starts when the old lease ends. i haven't had to live at home since i was 19 and like, there were times when i was hella poor, like disgracefully poor, but it was still better than living at home during the summer
yeah, my rental company usually asks the existing tenants if they want to renew their lease in, like, october, so they know which units will be available to other possible tenants for the next school year. so i’ll definitely talk to my roommates and see if we all wanna renew the lease for next school year
