Visiting Halifax and Peggy's Cove today. Knowing for the Titanic graves of those bodies that were recovered at sea, Halifax was also the site of a huge explosion of a munition ship in 1917 that killed over 2000 people, devasted the port, and was the largest human caused explosion before the denonation of the atom bomb. The pier near where we docked was where many Canadian immigrants arrived.
