7 in Fairy Tail
"What's with all the 7's man?" Thats really what I'm curious about because I find it funny how July 7, x777 all the dragons disappear. We have known that since the very beginning. But also the fact, the guild members were gone for 7 years. You wouldn't think that this has much significance until...
The Eclipse Gate, which opens once again 7 years after the guild members left after slowly absorbing magic from the Grand Magic Games (which was its intended use). I believe they say that the games started right after the members left and so it could be a possibility that if the guild members were there it would absorb magic faster since Natsu and co are extremely strong so they have an abundance of magical energy.
I like to think, however, that it was meant to be opened 7 years later and I believe it was supposed to be opened more likely on July 7th once again, since we find out a full moon disrupts the magic flow in the gate, which would be July 6th.
Also, I realized there are 7 members of team Natsu. That probably doesn't hold any significance but its really funny to think about. Mashima just likes his 7s.
