I have never seen or heard of a Houndoom breed like that. None of them have external ears.
all houndoom have external ears, the more popular ones simply tend to have either very small ones or their ears get cropped (which i am personally against) for battle so they have one less thing to possibly have get grabbed and ripped on accident
josie isn’t a battler, so she gets to have big long ears with no worries 💕 (and i’d never crop them even if she did battle)

How can you tell they're so active?
a mix of things
the lights subtly flickering more often, sudden drops in temperature, the sense of not being alone being more intense than usual, devices having a bit of a hard time functioning as they usually do
i know this can all be written off in one way or another, but it’s what i believe to be signs of spiritual activity
what ghosts?
the ghosts in the hotel, i’m fairly certain i’ve explained that i work in a haunted hotel already

i’m embarrassed because it was a really stupid mistake so i don’t want to go into full details but it made my coworker really really mad 😞

ghost ghosts, though the hotel does deal with a large amount of ghost type pokemon in the area, the hotel itself is haunted by ghost ghosts
