Casual lore drop about Narinder in my Fairy AU

Before turning into a fairy he was just a mortal who lived during Renaissance and happened to meet Shamura, 'befriending' the local fairies.

One day he finds himself forced to marry a man he doesn't love and the fairy of winter - Shamura - offers him to help him with the independence he longed for. The first thing they teach him is how certain herbs are miraculous for getting rid of intrusive people.
