I don't understand the premise of the Netflix show Fakes, in Canada the drinking age is 18/19 however you can drink with parents or a legal guardians if it's supplied by them. Why not ask your them for the Alcohol or an older sibling to get it for you? I don't understand getting a fake ID when the drinking age is so close by or am I missing something

I remember a fanfic. It had everyone’s fav trope, Irondad. Specifically it includes Harley and Peter. I read it quite a while back.
I remember that Harley and Peter were taking Tony’s MIT college sweatshirts and they made fake IDs to make them seem 18 years old. I think they were also leaving their home fairly often. Tony gets really suspicious and worried. So he does some digging. And he finds a nearby bar that does college nights and he confronts his kids about it.
He’s talking about reaponsibility and alcohol and drugs and stuff. Peter and Harley kinda panic. Then they spill the beans. Tony is shook after finding that they actually made their fake IDs to go to a nearby animal shelter and hang out with the animals, because they would only let people over the age of 18 hang out with the animals. They used Tony’s college sweatshirts to help with their cover.
Tony found this extremely humorous and took the kids to the shelter later and made them tell the manager or someone like that about their little stunt. Hence the boys are embarrassed and Tony and litearly everyone else are extremely amused.

So I order a fake FBI ID off Amazon right (for cosplay purposes) and it takes a few weeks to get here because it's from China (where all the best fake merch come from) and I guess I didn't pay good enough attention to the photo online because guESS WHO'S FAKE ID I ORDERED:
