Day 472: Sunmarine 2.6 Startup  Hey- so I’ve been pretty writer’s blocked of late, and the only ideas I’ve had are long drone ideas that need a lot of time to record. I was feeling antsy this morning, and decided to try something I’ve been meaning to do for awhile: make a startup-esque “micro song” (like Brian Eno did for Windows). This song sounds like the startup music to a kinda secretly dead operating system that has much goodness to it, but is secretly dead/broken. But still very nice, in a way that 2004 might be into. I’m not sure. ART CONTEST: I want YOU (whoever) to design a logo (and even name if you don’t like the one I have) for the OS that this song would be for- use whatever you like, but it should look very “operating system logo” when it’s done. The winner will get a free copy of my CD, a Craig T. Pebbleman figurine (both found here: https://justiceeatstrees.bandcamp.com/album/incubate-1-i-dont-know-im-tired) and a fabulous mystery prize that I don’t know yet.
