Some of them need to get off their high horse. If someone asks a question then you yell and bitch about them then when they say “hey I didn’t mean to do this I just don’t understand this and you could have been an adult and say it like this to avoid this”. Then they turn around and say “😑I don’t NEED TO EXPLAIN WHY IM BEING A DICK IM A WITCH😂👏”

Then when a different person says the same thing it’s okay. No you’re a fake witch who spreads FAKE positivity, gtfo of this community you clearly don’t belong in. Have fun getting hexed 💕

Spirituality and mindfulness are great as a personal crutch but at the end of the day I have to come to terms with the fact that witchcraft probably isnt for me and I am incapable of doing any of this. I am just going through the motions and collecting items. This isn’t real, and never has been- at least in my world

There are people where witchcraft and spells and ceremonial magic work. But I learn that it just isn’t for me. I’m not talented or gifted, and it would be delusional to call myself that.

Im glad I bought that seminar. It made me realize that all of this has been useless. All these years were a distraction, I can’t even meditate.

Wall the athames and wands and talismans in the work are pointless if held by someone with no disipline, no secrecy, no true willpower and faith that is shaky at best.

Even the whole law of attraction thing doesnt work because I lack strong will and faith for anything. I get discouraged so easily. I feel so hopeless

Okay you guys, here's a rant.

This is probably going to be an unpopular opinion, but I really feel as though this should be heard and understood, especially with with pop culture and makeup brands jumping in on the bandwagon.

Just because you copy a "witchy" aesthetic, doesn't necessarily make you a witch.

Many people don't realize that witches aren't all pretty crystals and dried herbs and black dresses with cute black hats. That's called an aesthetic. And while the aesthetic is beautiful and mystical and inspiring, reblogging it purely for looks and mimicking it in life doesn't make you a witch.

Witchcraft it just that: a craft. Meaning you practice it, you honor it, and most importantly

You believe it in your whole being.

I've seen fake witches. They can be the goth witch or the pastel witch or the nu witch look all they want, but they don't know the craft, don't practice the craft, don't live and love and honor the craft. They do it for the looks. Which is in all honesty to me a bit of a slap in the face. I've studied the craft and the Wiccan religion (they are two different things), I've spent years honing my abilities, honoring my goddesses, keeping my practice sacred to my beliefs and authentic to myself. To see someone impersonate my culture and beliefs is insulting.

This all being said, I DO believe that you have the right to practice the craft as you choose, as long as you are a true witch. As long as you feel it in your heart, soul, and mind and you practice as you see fit, you are a true witch.

Things that do NOT make you a FAKE WITCH

Being handicapped by any means

Being eclectic

Being soliditary

Being LBGTQ+

Being black, Asian, Latino(a), or any other ethnicity: YOUR ETHNICITY DOES NOT PREVENT YOU FROM BEING A WITCH. YOU ROCK ON WITH YOUR WITCHY SELF

Being a boy: BOYS CAN BE WITCHES TOO

THE ONLY THING THAT DOES NOT MAKE YOU A TRUE WITCH IS IF YOU'RE FAKING IT, IF YOU'RE DOING IT SIMPLY FOR THE LOOKS AND TRENDS.

Do not buy that bullshit witch kit from Sephora. Go to independent or local metaphysical/pagan/occult shops. They actually know their shit.
