met my new endocrinologist. they are a nonbinary person in their 50s who uses they/them pronouns only. they have graying hair on their temples. they just look, sound and act like a person. older nonbinary people are everything. older nonbinary people don't understand how much they mean to the world. thank you, we love you
if you want to send a letter of solidarity to jailed atlanta forest defenders facing egregious domestic terrorism charges, here is an IG post with all the info.
even small gestures and hellos help with the psychological torment of jail/prison.
they are potentially sacrificing their freedom because the weelaunee forest is one of atlanta's four great lungs; it is teeming with life. it belonged to mvskoke people. there were plans to have it permanently preserved as a conservancy by atlanta's city planning department, until cop city was proposed. no good will come from this project. it is funded by scumbags. (by dems mostly BTW! may allah have mercy on mayor keisha bottoms soul.)
the forest is worth defending. we should show them our gratitude.
If you are attending Action Week, remember to communicate discreetly & securely. Signal is not perfect (see, Sam Bankman-Fried) but it is still better than no encryption.
If you want to go, please dont go alone. you can message me for some safety resources.
May God bless you.

So anyways today my gf's old roomie dropped in my dms on grindr. But see Xroomie has a twin and I couldn't tell at first which they were so I had to like tease that shit outta gf who fucking hates xroomie but adores their twin. I think this is a rlly good setup for a poly commune and I just know ill fuck it up.
For like years I've rlly only rb\shared things I liked and occasionally commented. Now for one app that may be a fine way to do I, but I use all of them.. fb, tumblr, reddit, twitter, tiktok and insta. Like for a couple hours daily. I don't think thats okay. So from now on I'm mostly just posting random shit that happened that day.
This goes out to all the Xenogenderers, "cringy" nonbinaries, genderfluid, -fucked and otherwise genderweird people. Everyone who can't really cleanly explain their identity and aren't binary enough to feel truly trans or be taken seriously. By cishets or other queer people. This goes out to you all, who can't really transition, maybe bc you don't know how to/what that would look like for you, or because you'd be perceived and mocked as a freak, or maybe the exact treatments or helps you want n need aren't available, realistic, possible or even don't exist. Who aren't sure how you'd even go about affirming your gender or correcting misgendering. Maybe bc it'd take too much effort or not make sense to most people. Or just out of fear or inconvenience. Those who are often left out of trans conversations, for being too unusual or not seen as valid.
This or that, I'm here to say I see you. You are trans enough. You are exactly the gender(s) you are. I hope you find euphoric things in your life fuken STAT, and if you're still questioning I wish you all the best in your self discovery and it's okay to take time and experiment, you're absolutely never a nuisance for asking to have your identity respected and accommodated for, and no matter how temporary or a "phase" any nuances of your identity are, they still are worthy of respect when they're true for you. If you identify as one thing now, you deserve to be recognized as that now and for as long as you identify as such. Even if that changes tomorrow. Even if you turn out to be mistaken.
It's okay. You're enough. Have fun with it please
As someone around for 9-11 and the "NEVER FORGET NUMBER #1 GREATEST TRAGEDY EVER IN HISTURY" response to it I am in thrilled and invigorated by the fact that younger people just make amogus memes and TikTok nonsense about it. A huge chunk of America cared more about it than any entire genocide and thought you would cry learning about it. They hoped it'd make every generation patriotically angry forever and ever and want to join the military. Instead you Photoshop the towers into squidwards house and shit. Never stop lol
I’m physically unable to take 9/11 seriously, entirely because my grade 9 english teacher was bizarrely obsessed with it. We basically had an entire unit on 9/11. We watched that documentary from those students that were doing a documentary of firefighters and wound up getting the only footage of the first plane hitting. We did a novel study of a book about some kid being in one of the towers for take your kid to work day and him and his dad squeezing past the wreckage of the plane to escape in time. We watched that Nic Cage movie of him being a firefighter during 9/11 that gets stuck in an elevator shaft when the place collapses. I am dead fucking serious, we had to make up fictional people that died in the attack, write an obituary for our 9/11sona’s, and then write and deliver a eulogy as their grief-stricken parent. At one point in the unit the teacher clarified that she hadn’t personally lost anyone to the attack, nor was she anywhere near New York when it happened. She never bothered to ask if any of us had actually lost someone in the attack, which kind of seems like a thing you should do before making us invent fictional victims to give eulogies for. The unit began with her demanding to know where we all were on the day of the attack and what we remembered, and she started crying when we told her that 1. we were two years old at the time and couldn’t remember shit fuck, the closest thing was one of the older kids kind of thought they remembered being very confused at adults freaking out over the TV but that could have been literally anything, and so this meant that 2. we were the last class she would ever teach that could possibly remember 9/11. Probably didn’t help that someone pointed out that we were the class born in 1999, so in two years she’d have students that hadn’t even been born during 9/11. That may have contributed to the teacher crying over the whole thing.
We’re Canadian.
That last sentence KILLED me. Jesus fuck.

Whoa..
What the actual fuck, I thought it was gonna make the lines in the painting kinda wiggly and stuff but holy SHIT.
as much as the world fails you, never regret having a good heart.
Imagine if people talked about regular health procedures the way they talk about child and teen trans people transitioning
"So you're telling me any child can just claim they have 'stomach pain' and get their appendix, one of their organs, removed?!"
"your wisdom teeth are pressing against your other teeth, you say? Nice try, you're like 16, there's no way you'd be able to consent to the live changing surgery of having bones removed"
